Upon walking in we were happy to see the inside was plenty large and smelled really good at breakfast time. Service was super attentive and the baristas were super helpful in helping us decide what to order. They made recommendations on iced speciality coffees before we ordered. I took them up on their recs and we got the Nutty Jerry which was a sweet but delicious hazelnut iced coffee. We also got the County Jail which was the perfect sweetness of sweet cream mixed with their house cold brew. Wooowee they were delicious and sweeeeet! We really enjoyed the coffee blends they use that are made in-house. This is real good coffee, y'all! I browsed the bagged coffee they had displayed and decided to bring home a 12oz bag of Saddle Bronc that lasted me a solid month of morning drinking at home. This is a medium roast and very impressionable for my palette. There is plenty of room here to read, get some work done, and catch up with friends and family here. The decor and seating areas were very welcoming. Thanks for the delicious coffee while we were visiting Columbus and for having such a great selection of bagged coffee (and Kcups!) to select to bring back home.

I live in Columbus but I had not been to Frontier Rodeo before today. I will not be returning…read more First of all, I waited at least ten minutes just to place an order. There were only three people in front of me so I'm not sure why there was such a long wait. I ordered a 16oz steamed milk with sugar-free vanilla syrup for my daughter. I requested that they not heat it above 140F and I was pleased to see that the employee did make a note of the temperature request. I ordered a 16oz house blend coffee and asked for "the creamiest cream" they had, whether that was whole milk, half-and-half, or whipping cream. She told me that they did have heavy cream...but neglected to tell me that there was a $1.15 charge for cream. Really? To my knowledge, I have never been charged to put dairy in my coffee. It took another ten minutes for them to make our drinks (heating milk to 140 and pouring already-brewed coffee and cream?) and my "coffee" tasted like creamy warm water. I'm wondering how much cream they put in...enough to completely cool my coffee and render it utterly flavorless. No joke, I literally could not taste the coffee. I finished my $3.75 lukewarm creamwater but I will not be back. There are a number of elaborate, sugarbomb "coffee" drinks on the menu - maybe Frontier is catering to the tastes of the Columbus high school coffee crowd. A coffee shop who can't produce a solid cup of plain ol' drip coffee at proper temperature (and without charging nearly half the original price of the coffee just to add cream!) is no kind of respectable coffee shop. Ten bucks and twenty minutes, at least, wasted - I won't go back.
