This store is so nice and has a huge selection of dresses for everyone. (Bride, mother's, bridesmaids, and grandmothers)! Really amazed at the selection. They also have jewlrey and shoes in store that can be ordered. I appreciate how there are so many private sections for you to come out when trying on dresses to show the people who came with you, that is not visible to everyone in the store. read more

made an appointment today to go in and look for a mother of the bride dress and a short dress. i initially didn't understand why you can't just go in and browse. i clearly understand now. it would be so overwhelming. this place is massive! you are greeted with a dedicated assistant that takes your likes and dislikes into consideration when helping you to select items to try. Krista assisted us and was so knowledgeable and patient. she helped us find the perfect dress when we really were just getting an idea of what we liked. i couldn't be happier with our purchase and the service provided. read more

Not only did I find the wedding dress of my dreams at bridal path but my mom found her mother of the bride dress, my bridesmaids dresses all came from BP, and my mother in law found her gown here as well. I wasn't impressed. 1. It was super crowded and they didn't follow Covid guidelines. 2. I'm a size 8 in pants and their sample dresses were too small and did not fit me. I was embarrassed and was told I could look for gold hangers and try on the plus size dresses. 3. I was expected to get undressed in front of my Sytlist, who is a complete stranger and then parade out to the front of crowded shop to go show my friends who came with me. The whole time, I was not in dresses that zipped up so again, embarrassed. I finally used my voice and asked her to bring them back to me bc their dressing rooms were plenty big enough. I feel like I should have been explained their process to me before getting started, and made sure I was comfortable and if I wasn't, then give me another option on how to handle it. I guess I'd youre itty bitty and like attention, then this shop is for you. If you're more average size and are modest, then stay away. It all felt chaotic and unorganized. read more

Love the bridal path! It was bought by new owners and they were so helpful in finding my dress. I believe the bad reviews are from previous ownership. I literally didn't feel rushed and it was not stressful. Audree helped me find my dress and she took her time with me and let me try on as many dresses as i wanted. She actually found my dress as i was getting ready to leave, she wanted to try one more that was a different style than what i had thought i wanted. She's a doll. I even came back for a second time to try the dress on again and it was no problem. It is pretty standard that wedding dresses run smaller than street clothes, but they have a big variety to choose from. I did weekday appointments and did not feel like the environment was stressful at all. read more

I live in DC and had been to a bridal salon in DC, where I HATED the dresses and was chided for not coming in sooner (I had only been engaged about two weeks). They had very few that could be available in time for my wedding that was six months away, and fewer still that fell below my $1000 price point. I had been looking at BHLDN and J Crew for off the rack dresses and found one I kind-of liked, but decided I wanted to do the whole bridal salon experience with my mom, aunt, and best friend from home. I honestly didn't really expect to find one at The Bridal Path, especially within my budget. I was wrong! Lou Ann knew what would flatter me, what was within my budget, and listened to what I was telling her. We found one we all loved, ordered on the spot, and had it earlier than promised (I ordered at the end of December and had it in hand in March, with no rush fee). Alterations were easy and not too pricey (mine cost a little more because I lost a fair bit of weight at the end and had it taken in more). It was a very pleasant experience and the dresses were much prettier than the ones I had seen at another salon. I did get talked into a veil and belt that put me well above what I had said was my budget, but I decided it was worth it. I felt really beautiful and was happy with my choice. read more

I had a bad experience here from start to finish. I decided to buy a bridesmaid gown at the Bridal Path, rather than online, which would have saved me $150 on a close-to $300 gown, but I decided to pay more for what I thought would be good service. Didn't work out. I was first helped by someone who didn't know how to help me choose a size, until finally the seamstress came to aid. She seemed to be the only competent one there. Once we decided on a size, the sales lady just assumed I was leaving, even though I made no such indication; I had to lay it out that I wanted to pay in full that day. I ordered in early June and was told if it couldn't get here by mid-November, the wedding day, I would have to pay expedited shipping. If you can't get something in five to six months, you probably shouldn't say you sell it. I didn't receive a voicemail saying my dress was in, so I had to call to find my dress had arrived, though the sales staff claimed they did leave a voicemail. In any case, only on the third inquiry about when the dress came in did I actually get an answer. The sales clerk evaded my question twice. To top it all off, when I checked out, I was charged an extra fee at the back end that I wasn't made aware of when I paid in full up front. At every point in the store, when I indicated frustration, I received no apology and instead defensiveness, excuses, and an air of snobbery. I never felt appreciated as a paying customer, and I wish I had gone online to buy my gown, as the other bridesmaids did, who by their account had a much better experience than I did. I did speak with a manager by phone later and she apologized for my experience. I appreciated her listening to my venting but won't be coming back or recommending the Bridal Path in the future. The service was not up to par for the higher prices. read more

I wouldn't even leave a star if I didn't have to because it deserves zero stars. From the moment I walked in for first appointment I had a gut feeling it wouldn't be a good experience. I felt profiled, and that they thought I wasn't "the type" to drop money on a dress. I started picking out dresses to try on, and the lady "helping" me seemed she wasn't even listening to the look I wanted. There was a dress on a mannequin that I tried on though and of course ended up "falling in love with." We ordered it right then & they said they would call me in a week w shipping info. A week goes by and no phone call, so I called them and they pretty much said they didn't have any information for me which wasn't too comforting. A month goes by and I still haven't heard from them so my maid of honor called on a Tuesday morning, and they told her my dress and veil have been shipped and should both be there within 3 weeks. Not even 24 hours later I get a phone call saying both have arrived... Pretty odd to me. Today I went to pick my dress up and it got even worse. I walked in as excited as I could get myself to be, and told them I was there to get my dress. They unzipped it for me to look at and then zipped it right back up. I had to ask "oh sorry, but can I please at least try on MY WEDDING DRESS?" So they put me in a dressing room, took dress out of bag and walked away. They didn't offer to help me get it on, didn't offer to help put the veil on (of course my mom was with me to do so, but that's beside the point). The lady came in when I had it on and said pretty perfect fit but could probably be taken up some. But did she offer to have alterations arranged? No, of course not. Not that I would have had them do it anyway. I walked out in tears. Not happy tears. It was the most unpleasant experience for an experience that should be such an exciting time in my life. I do not recommend anyone go here. I felt so belittled, so unappreciated, etc. And although I did find a dress I love, I honestly would love to start with a clean slate and have the experience every girl should! So ladies, just stand clear of Bridal Path in Jackson, MS. The new owners are so unpleasant it makes the experience miserable. And to top it off there wasn't champagne either haha read more

I had to deal with this place for my friend's wedding and I have never been so humiliated in my life by one of the seamstresses. I am normally a 3/4 in dress sizes, and they strongly advised me to get a 10 because of my 'measurements' I tried on the dress for my fitting and it was very big and I had to pay 130 in alterations when the dress itself was 160. I came in to pick it up and tried asking the seamstress that if I was correctly fitted then would I had not have to pay all that money in alterations and I have never been so humiliated. She measured me in front of the whole store with customers and employees all around and rudely told me I was 'a half inch bigger in my chest, bigger in my stomach, and a WHOLE inch bigger in my waist- but that is besides the point' Those were her exact words. What she did made my argument more valid. Then she continued to butcher me saying how if I had a problem then I should have contacted them which is true, but I am not from Mississippi so I couldn't just do that. I told her that also and she said 'that was not her problem'. Bottomline, I paid for the alterations but I will never ever be returning here and if you're looking for a dress of some sort, look where the employees actually want the best for you instead of your money. Sorry this was long, but I would never want someone to be talked to in that matter or disrespected like I was. read more

The service is awesome here. I am a plus size woman and the sales associate made me feel comfortable with trying on dresses and even found some beautiful ones. They don't have a big plus size selection, but I was able to fit in some sample sizes (with riggings) and the sales associate was happy to help me. This is a friendly place to shop for a bridal gown. I found some beautiful ones, but my heart was taken by a dress at another store, so I don't know what their buying experience is like. read more

After dealing with my bridesmaids buying their dresses here, and my best friend choosing bridesmaids dresses here- I will NEVER waste my time or money at this store again. Beautiful, expensive dresses but TERRIBLE customer service. Every single person we've dealt with at the Bridal Path (except for one, sweet younger girl) has been so rude! One friend was told "are you sure you want to order that size, because you aren't a 2". Another friend was told "don't worry, we have dresses that come in your size" Speaking of "size", I'm not sure what sizing chart they go by, but I would have to assume they size everyone up extreme amounts on purpose. Maybe they do it in hopes that we will get our dresses altered there and they will make more money? The alterations of my $260 dress will now cause me to spend well over $300 on a bridesmaid dress! I was sized as an 8 (at 124 lbs and 5'3-mind you, I was 10 weeks postpartum- but I wasn't even near a size 8 at 36 weeks pregnant!!) They continued to argue that I was in fact a size 8 even when the dress I tried on was an 8- which was clamped with THREE large clamps to keep the dress up! (They don't keep smaller sizes in stock, so literally everything I tried on had to be clamped multiple times) After somewhat of a fight, they agreed to let me order a size 6. I went 6 months later (because it took so long to get the dresses in) to finally pick up my dress, and kindly asked if I could compare the color with another one of our bridesmaids dresses since our bride was worried the colors were different. After being told "they were cut from the same cloth, I don't know why she's worried", they finally agreed to let me compare colors. The colors were fine, but I got home to try on my size 6 dress, and it literally falls off of me- as it does with every other bridesmaid in this wedding party. They may have the best dresses in Jackson, but I promise their attitudes and how stuck up they are is NOT worth the hassle! Don't waste your money- I can guarantee that you will spend twice as much because of the alterations that will be required! read more
