Instead of letting me do that, she stopped me, insisted on looking again, came up with her own alternative plan, and assured me it would look good. I trusted her word and left the jacket. When I returned on the promised pickup date, she immediately snapped at me, asking if I had "not seen her call" from the day before. Then, with attitude, she told me the jacket couldn't be altered after all. So after holding my jacket for over three weeks...time that cost me the chance to return it, I was left empty-handed, out the money, and just a week from my interview. The worst part wasn't even the failed alteration, but the dismissive, rude way it was handled.
