My most recent purchase of a washer-dryer combo left me far from happy. I was sold of the claimed virtues of these appliances but found that they were the worst that I'd ever owned. I would have written sooner but did not know of this site. The washer quite often twists up the laundry and the dryer makes it even worse even if untangled before drying. This Whirlpool dryer requires babysitting especially when doing bedsheets as it usually forms a lump which requires a number of stops to untangle for each drying cycle. In addition, the filtering mechanisms - 2 different sets of filters, need to be cleaned after a few uses. The secondary filter failed and Whirlpool knew there was a problem with these filters so they designed a new one. I had to pay over $100 for their new and improved filter - What a laugh! Just as bad and hard to clean. I felt that I was given poor information when purchasing, and no help when I returned to the store with issues.

Talked to a sales rep but struck out there as well as this style was backordered. Anyway, ordered the part to take our chances. I called to confirm the first scheduled service call and somehow they missed it. Actually they didn't even order the part. About 6 weeks later the part comes in. Broken. Ordered another. Another 6 weeks and we finally have lift off. Appointment scheduled for another Saturday. On time, efficient and yay, the repair works. The delay on the parts was not B-H's fault. Whirlpool said they only get about 16 of them at a time and we would be 273 if I ordered from them. In spite of the delay, and the glitch, these are the nicest crew I've ever dealt with. From Alex and Darren in parts to I think Wade (or Wayne) on the sales floor and outstanding service from I believe it was Steve who completed the repair. I can't believe these appliances have such a short lifespan (it's a cottage) but when I'm in the market B-H will be my first stop.

    I bought 300.00 worth of Christmas outside decerations and when I got home to Shallow Lake to find…read moreout some were broken , some pieces missing . Before I went back to the home depot I checked on line what stores had anything left to sell and it was looking like the stores had recieved everything the were going to get for Christmas for the year . So I will admit I was very upset when I reached the store . I asked for the manger to see if he would sell me the only lanteren left anywhere in Ontario that mached the one I had bought and his answer was it was a desplay and I could not buy it . So here I am with 1 lantern and the seconmd one looking at me from the top shelf that I could not buy . This is the most foolish thing I ever heard . It is for sale but I can not buy it . So there were none left in any store in Ontario . He advised me I could buy it AFTER Christmas but not know . I was s upset I was ready to get evertthing I bought refunded and leabve the store never to retiurn . Then out of the blue the sweetest girl her name was Sarah Martin she calmed me down and helped find new things to buy and to top it off Sarah offered to put everything I bought together to make sure there were no broken parts and nothing broken . So when everything was put to gether a great guy named Dan Ross helped cover everything in plastic so my seats in my car would stay clesn . The both brought everything to my car put it all inside . I am a 71 year old woman and the last time I had such great service was about 40 years ago . Now aday no one helps anymore and no one cares about the buyer one way or the other , but these 2 ANGLES just saved the store almost 400.00 that I spent and saved the Home Depot a loyal buyer . If it was not for Sarah and Dan I would have got my money refunded and NEVER stepped into that store again . When there is only one item left in all the stores in Ontario I see no reason why I could not have bought the last one . I understand that they need desplay modles but when you are not getting anymore what in Gods name do they need a desplay modle for when all they are doing is showing people what they can not have . So because of these 2 caring employees they saved the day for me and the store and should be reconized by the company as OUT STANDING EMPLOYEES OF THE YEAR !!! It would be a much better world if more people were like Sarah Martin and Dan Ross Thank you you made my Christmas !!!

    This HD location is poorly managed and completely disorganized. Twice, I had to drive there from…read morethe cottage just to find out that the item that was shown on their website as available in stock was in fact not available. They just don't bother updating their inventory. Both times I got some lame excuses from the staff with explanations that were too wierd to be true. Also, the staff is much less friendly than in nearby Rona and Canadian tire.
