My husband and I had our first date and many date nights since, at the Brick House, and have always loved it. We decided to use them as our wedding reception venue, and we couldn't be happier that we did. Matt and his team made our day go so smoothly. They handled all setup and cleanup and food preparation, and had a offer a huge selection of alcohol, and many different cost efficient bar package options. All of our guests raved about how good the appetizers and meal were. Their rates are much lower than any of the other local reception venues that offer packages. Not to mention the super cool, eclectic atmosphere that the place has, that just added to the decor style that I was looking for!! I can't thank the Brick House team enough for making our day amazing, beautiful, memorable and delicious!

The Brick house has okay food, good service, a little expensive, and the band plays a little too loud so I don't recommend it if you want to have a long conversation (or don't want to have to shout to be heard), but the place is nice for a night out downtown (aka drinking and maybe dancing). But watch out for the owner, I've heard that he's kind of a dick. Update: Thanks for the response Larry. Maybe install some sound absorption wall equipment.

We sat outside because it was a nice night - it was cute out there but pretty loud from Main Street. I got the Cajun chicken Alfredo - which was pretty good - very creamy and a huge portion. My husband got the potato pancake Rueben Sammy which he liked a lot. We also shared stuffed peppers and they were just OK - nice and cheesy but kind of mushy.

Very disappointed in this place. Service terrible. Good food, but only after a 90 minute wait. Won't be back.

The old automobile sign decor, milkshake bar, open kitchen concept and friendly staff, left a memorable impression. Big shout out to the couple, the hostess sat me with at the milkshake section of restaurant, and Lindsey one of the owners, for taking care of us. The food was plated to perfection, tasted amazing and the side salad, beyond anyone wildest dream of wow for a diner. Great portions of food, went with the sandwich special for the day. Lindsey, was engaging, great multi tasker and definitely shake master. She had to have done quite a few shakes as I watched and waited for my food. If your looking for milkshakes, burgers, prime rib, be sure to check Chop Shop out.

Timing is Everything!!!…read more I just happened to stop in at the Chop Shop in Downtown Butler, PA, during a recent Heatwave. As my luck would have it, I quickly discovered that this restaurant does not have air conditioning. I'm not sure if it was just offline or if it is permanent; however, be warned!! The restaurant had children and elderly people seated, so I couldn't wimp out and go somewhere else. The Chop SHop is a downtown Butler must-try, and it is three concepts rolled into one. The Chop Shop is a vintage-style eatery serving sandwiches, milkshakes, burgers, vegetarian fare and grilled meats. I ordered their specialty milkshake, which is a loaded milkshake that comes with everything thrown into one Milkshake. Although it was a perfect drink for a heatwave, my milkshake quickly melted due to the heat in the restaurant. For the main course, I ordered the Mixed Grill, which had grilled elk tenderloin, smoked quail, caramelized bacon brussels sprouts, dauphinoise potatoes and a blackberry brandy demi-glaze. The food was awesome, and those potatoes were crazy-good. The Elk was cooked to medium as I ordered, and the quail was tender and juicy. Overall, a good but hot dining experience. The Chop Shop has great food, great service, and one day may serve alcohol in the restaurant, but for now, their food and drinks can be enjoyed without it.

My southwest chicken salad was a nice accompaniment. We had the cheese sticks, sliders, and southwest egg rolls in our triple dipper. We didn't love the egg rolls, but we loved sliders. However, we went there on 7/30/26 and it was not very good. We decided to get something other than a burger. Since i have the app on my phone, we get free chips and salsa. Their salsa is always a bit thin and runny but tasty. love their tortilla chips. Not his time. They were undercooked, greasy, soggy and just plain bad. We mentioned something to food runner and she said "i will tell them". No offer to replace the bad stuff, but since they are free we didn't put up a fuss. Then the food came. We both ordered their chicken crispers. They come with fries and mac and cheese. Mac and cheese is hard to screw up, but they found a way. Runny thin cheese, overcooked mac and way too salty (and i love salt)The chicken was stringy and not very good, but edible. We talked to oour sever about the mac and cheese. She shrugged her shoulder and said "oh well". Overall a very poor showing. Her "oh well" cost her some tip, although i still tipped 15%. We will probably give them another chance and stick with the burgers next time. BTW, IMO their beer is WAY overpriced for what they are. A Yuengling draft is $6.50??? Most similar places are about half that price. Plus they don't put the prices on their menu for drinks. Why is that?
