It's always hopping with people which means it must be good! The first time we went I had the double smash burger with hash brown casserole. The burger was sooo delicious and what a dream burger is made of! Juicy and flavorful, cooked just right! The hash brown casserole was cheesy and yummy both times I had it, seasoned perfectly for my taste. My bacon egg and cheese biscuit was almost as amazing as the burger, with the eggs soft and fluffy, crunchy bacon, and melted cheese. But the star of the show for me was my hot mocha. It was so silky smooth, not overly sweet, the perfect temp, with neat looking foam art on top, probably the best mocha I've ever had. I'll definitely be back to try something new and for sure grab another mocha!!

The Breakfast Bar did NOT disappoint!…read more We came looking for a good breakfast, and they delivered. The chicken and waffles were excellent--the chicken was crispy, well-seasoned, and had that real Southern-style crunch, while the waffles were warm, fluffy, and lightly dusted with powdered sugar. The sweet-and-savory combination was on point. And then there was the chicken-and-waffle sandwich with bacon. Whoever decided to put crispy chicken, smoky bacon, and waffles together understood the assignment. It was indulgent, messy in the best possible way, and absolutely worth it. Even the drink was good--refreshing and a nice complement to a pretty serious breakfast. The portions were generous, the food came out looking just as good as it tasted, and this was not one of those breakfast spots that gets hyped up and then leaves you wondering what everybody was talking about. We came to Greenville looking for some of the best waffles in town, and The Breakfast Bar earned its place on the list. It's a small place is patience is required for the service but no complaints here. Would definitely come back. 5 stars from us!

We were belatedly celebrating mom's 84th birthday, and she had not been to Yoder's in 10-15 years…read more Today was my first time. My aunt and cousin joined in on the fun, and it was my cousin's first time as well. Some in our party got the meatloaf, and exclaimed over how delicious it was. I got the parm chicken with rice, which was a little dried out and disappointing. Enter Yoder's cabbage and Dutch potato sides to save the day! Both were absolutely delicious! The cabbage was perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. I was delighted to find they were spicy, with visible red pepper flakes. The Dutch potatoes were creamy and cheesy...a new fave! The roll with the cinnamon butter was a treat indeed. And the tea? We like ours half & half...delivered in big cups with extra ice just the way we like it! I also got an English Toffee Latte to go...and it did not disappoint. Neither did the waitstaff, who were friendly, engaging and ensured our food was delivered with a smile. We left with slices of chocolate, coconut cream, and pecan caramel pie, a loaf of sourdough, and a mocha brownie treat for later. Ohhhh, and a ginormous cinnamon roll, cause why not?! The interior of Yoder's restaurant is a rustic place with a lovely shop to wander through while you wait to be seated. They have a lovely bird in the store that will sing you a song and tell you what the cat and the rooster say. So charming! All in all, I've been hearing about Yoder's for years and years...and it did not disappoint! Can't wait for a return visit!

Our party called ahead the day before visiting the restaurant for Wednesday reservations. We were…read moretold to arrive around 9am the next morning. After arriving a few minutes early we were told it would be "a bit" before they could seat us. "A bit" turned out to be more than an hour and even then they sat us at multiple tables throughout the restaurant. After being seated, we were promptly ignored. Fifteen more minutes went by before our sullen, unpleasant server took our drink orders and eventually our breakfast orders. She was not only extremely slow and inattentive, but blatantly disrespectful to one member of our party by rolling her eyes and making gestures when she thought we couldn't see her. Once our order was placed, we waited then waited more. We had decided to leave if our food had not arrived by 12pm and go to Bojangles in Vanceboro, but at 11:50, over three hours after arriving, our food finally showed up. My omelet was enormous and overflowing with ground sausage. It was OK, but would have been better with less sausage. My shredded hash browns were cold. The biscuit that accompanied the omelet was cold and hard. My dining companion liked her french toast, but noted her eggs, though properly prepared over medium, were cold. Same goes for her home fries. However, the buttery syrup, served with her french toast, was served warm and was absolutely amazing. Wow! It made my biscuit edible and was the best part of our meals. The restaurant is attached to a hardware store in a rural part of Craven County. It definitely has a country vibe and was spotless. Incredibly slow and disrespectful service combined with OK-at-best food make it difficult to recommend Voder's Dutch Pantry in any capacity to anyone.

We ordered the trifecta (waffle, eggs, bacon), kids pancake (cc pancake, sausage, fruit, OJ), kids eggs and sausage and an extra side of fruit. It was delivered quick and everything (aside from that 1 sausage that looks slightly overcooked) was fresh and hot!! I'll start with the positive- that OJ was so fresh, I wish I had known how good it was going to be because I would've ordered 3 more!! The bacon was cooked perfectly, the pancake was huge, cooked well and had a great pancake/ choc chip ratio, the eggs were still soft and the waffle was soft and very tasty! Whatever the berry compote was that came with the waffle, was amazing!!! Seriously, so good. The downside- I can't review the fruit at all... because it was completely missing. The fruit side with the kids meal and the full extra fruit side i ordered were both absent. A bummer as our kids do love their fruit, but DoorDash made it right which I appreciate. Can't speak to service or atmosphere of the restaurant itself since we didn't dine in. Overall, this place was great, and we will 100% be eating it again! Knocking 1 star off just since the fruit to the kids meal and the extra side of it was missing, but I'll update my review next time we eat!
