We come here either when we have guests staying in town or when we're up real late and want breakfast. This past visit it was for both reasons. Kind of a bummer that their menu changed a bit. Pretty sure the selections for late night have been pared down. The Rocky Road Pancakes are 86'd.(http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/grand-caf%C3%A9-henderson-3?filter_by_userid=True&select=bVJqy_XA7GaRocePyarYZQ&userid=2EuPAGalYnP7eSxPgFCNDg#nuOLtM-BZGT6GMW-Z99RXg) That's a bummer! Oh well, not like I need to eat that anyways. They also raised the prices. It's still reasonable, but I talked it up with my out of town guests as this place had great deals. Not so much anymore. For what it's worth, the chicken fried steak that came with a biscuit and both smothered in country gravy with eggs and hash browns was not too bad and a good deal for $8.50 . The Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae with lots of whip cream did not disappoint either. My niece gave it a thumbs up. Both orders were good sized portions. It was busier than I expected for a week night but service was pretty good. Our server was courteous and attentive enough. The host was really friendly. Our orders came out in a timely matter. We all enjoyed our late night eats here. read more

Brass Fork - late night breakfast Chicken Fried Steak eggs hsdh browns and biscuit with gravy - Cafes Near Me - Henderson, Nevada

Came to Henderson, NV and stayed at Sunset Station Hotel & Casino. The Brass Fork restaurant is located inside the hotel. Let me say that the staff here are absolutely wonderful. Friday night I asked for water with ice and the lady putting pastries away was very sweet and gave me water, and I hadn't dinned there. Saturday morning my sister and I had breakfast here and the breakfast was great! My eggs were perfect and my bacon was exactly how I requested it, extra crispy. So yummy!! Our waiter Warren was very helpful with breakfast recommendations. The set up with the syrup, butter and ketchup along with our food was too cute! I highly recommend if you are ever in Henderson, NV you visit this restaurant!! read more

It took 40 minutes to serve soup and salad when I got the soup it was supposed to be clam chowder and it was watery they had to take it back. Come to find out if the chef said to the waiter I know it's watery. So basically they're telling me they don't care what they serve. read more

Excellent quality food, great menu selection, fast and friendly service and reasonable prices. What more could you ask for? They had healthy options such as salmon and turkey dinner, and the half pound cheeseburger satisfied those of us with a big appetite. The breakfast options were also excellent. read more

The food was good. The service was unacceptable. I was sat at a table without being put in queue meaning no one knew I was even sitting there. Then the waitress says since you had to wait so long, I expedited your food which was BS. They actually provided me food that tasted like it had been sitting for a while the french fries were hard and stale, and the burger was cold and dry. The cheese was discolored. I informed the waitress that my food was not fresh and she called me a liar, stating it was impossible for my food to taste like it had been sitting for a while, (liar) talking about the waitress. I asked for the manager and he called me a liar. They didn't offer to replace my food. They didn't apologize. They didn't care. I refuse to spend my money with people who think they can treat me this way. I will never eat at the brass fork again, because this wasn't my first time being mistreated there, which is starting to look like a pattern for me and I refuse to let anyone treat me like I am less than. read more

Brass Fork is a nice 24-Hour restaurant inside the Sunset Station casino. They have no idea how to make eggs, but the coffee is good and eggs generally taste the same as long as you don't cook them hard. I wouldn't eat lunch or dinner here, but it's a comfortable spot for breakfast read more

Let me start out by saying Dawn, our server was VERY nice and this review is no reflection of her at all. I was here with my 11 year old son. We ordered 3 hard boiled eggs and they brought out piping HOT eggs still in the shell in a bowl. I asked if they could take them and peel them because they were too hot for us to even touch. The manager came out and told me I would have to wait for them to fulfill the orders they currently had, which could be up to 30 mins before getting to peel our eggs. I had to agree because my son doesn't eat his eggs any other way. Shortly after, Dawn came back to check on us and I expressed my frustration, which wasn't geared towards her in any way. She was very understanding and apologized. She walked away and in less than 5 mins returned with our eggs peeled. She said "I just put some gloves on and peeled them for you guys myself" with a genuine smile on her face. Needless to say, Dawn saved the morning. :) This establishment needs a new manager ASAP! Manager's Customer Service- 0 Dawn (the server)- 5 Overall 2 stars because the food wasn't that great either. Dawn, on the other hand could be my server anywhere in the world and I would be happy! read more

I am really sad not to give the Brass Fork 5 stars. I have such different experiences depending on which Station Casino/Brass Fork I am at. We regularly visit at least 4 locations. We have found that the chefs widely follow their recipes as they wish. First, the burgers at the Sunset Station location are a delight. One of the best burgers in Henderson! Especially on Wednesday evenings. Really good. You must try one. Another time at this location, I ordered the Chicken Parm. The tomatoe sauce was so acidic I couldn't eat it!!! Terrible!!!! Now, on to the amazing new house made pickles. If u get them fresh, wonderful. If they serve you the day-old pickles, they are soggy and don't taste as good. Last fall, we stopped at Boulder Station Brass Fork. I ordered the Avacado toast. It was AMAZING. Nicely layered. Yummy!! I was happy to find it. So next time we were watching football at one of the 3 Wildfire Casinos we go to, I ordered the avocado toast. It was so sad! How can u ruin Avacado toast? By stirring all the ingredients together like tuna salad and plopping it onto burnt toast! That's how. I was so disappointed. So, next time we were at a different Wildfire, I asked the waitress how they made the avacado toast. She went to confirm with the chef. He couldn't tell her bc his English was so poor. He showed her a picture! I know that since Covid, everyone is having a hard time finding experienced chefs. I think the Station Casinos must not care overly much about who they hire. That is sad for us, the customers. It is crazy that they must have spent a lot of money rebranding their Golden Fork Cafe's and not followed up with putting quality into their new menu. Station Casinos are our local casinos. The interior at Sunset Staion always gives me a smile. It's ceiling is amazing to enjoy without going to the strip. Beautiful. Come on people, put out food that will live up to your branding. read more

Best place ever. We enjoy it every time! Appreciate the great service and the good food

I was relaxing in my room looking over the specials, not in a hurry because restaurant advertises open 24/7. Looking forward to an open face hot turkey sandwich (hard to find) NOT! NOT, OPEN? Closes from 7:00 pm to 6:00 am.... That's not cool! Talk to the hotel manager who calls the restaurant management who instructions us to the other restaurant, with limited menu. Which also is closed...I end up at Denny's. read more

You have got to give this place a go! Honestly I don't know why this place has only 3 stars, the food was great! We shared a fruit plate and everything tasted fresh and sweet, presentation was awesome. I had the seafood chowder in a sourdough bread boule. Boule was crisp crunchy on the outside and filled with thick creamy buttery goodness inside, filled to the brim! The chowder was flowing all over the bread boule and serving dish. So amazingly delicious it was close to being the best I have ever had. Served hot jam packed with perfectly cooked shrimp, large chunks of fresh crab and bits of golden corn. Chowder had a shiny shimmering layer of browned butter drizzled on top...Just writing about it has my mouth watering for more. Hubby had the cheeseburger with a fresh salad, his burger was cooked well, toppings were very fresh and flavorful (lettuce, tomato, red onion and pickles on the side). Salad was crisp, if you like a lot of salad dressing be sure to request extra. Waitress was not overly friendly and seemed like she may have been having an off day, left a decent tip (30%+) for her to help boost her mood. Hope whatever was troubling her worked out. read more

We originally went to the suncoast to go to the Foodie Fest, which was a total bust. We were hungry and perturbed. We were all ready across town so we decided to try the cafe. Our morning turned around. All the staff there were friendly, outgoing and helpful. The food was delicious and the wait was minimal. I was very happy that we found this gem in the desert. read more

I really wanted to give this place a good review because the food was great but I just can't. This was one of the worst customer experiences I've had. I initially came here for the prime rib but they ran out so I settled for the steak. The food took ~30min to arrive. However, I did order a steak so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. My waitress came off as rude but she could've just been having a bad night. She didn't check up on me a single time or refill my water at all. Will definitely think twice before coming here again. read more

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and ate here for breakfast each morning. It is hard to screw up breakfast, but they managed. First morning I had country fried steak. I typically figure that if you put country gravy on something, it tastes pretty good but boy was I wrong. It was the gravy that sucked. Had a cheesy sour taste that ruined everything it touched. The next morning I went safe again with a waffle, sausage patty and an egg. Another bomb! The sausage had a strange and terrible aftertaste to it and the waffle wasn't the worst ever, but it was far from good even with butter and syrup. Again, if butter and syrup can't save it, you have problems. I recommend that you go anywhere else to eat if you are staying at Sunset Station. Service was friendly but very slow. read more

First off: So happy the menu has been upgraded. We got the Fried Green Tomaties, as an appetizer. (Totally awesome and different!) They're fried in grits and served with this crazy, tomato jam sauce w/Bacon. (In a Vegetarian, so I didn't try it, but Hubby said it was amazing). They're served with a Carmalized grits in a cheesy sauce. I think, $7.99 Dinners were: Elote Grilled Cheese 3-layered sandwich that has mixed cheeses and has just enough spick kick to it. Topped with Guacamole and a yummy fresh salsa and a side of fries. $10.99 Grilled Salmon Served over a bed of Quinoa With a fresh Mesculan salad that had radishes and a yummy sweet tasty relish type dressing? $16.99 Go there: Many NEW dishes to try Jerri our waitress is ALWAYS wonderful@@ $16.99 read more

This is a coffee shop on steroids. When they became Brass Fork it was an amazing change over. The menu, the prices, the portions...simply amazing. This is a great place to come to grab a meal whether it is lunch or dinner...I've never did breakfast. The staff is friendly and usually takes care of your needs efficiently. Recently, in the last 6 months they have taken a downturn in quality and price. The portions are still large, but the taste of some items has gone out the window. Here is a good example: I love the chicken parmesan, but the spaghetti sauce has lost all of its taste. It is now so bland...Its such a disappointment...what happened? I'm pretty sure some things have changed due to cost, but if I'm paying top dollar at a coffee shop I expect the food to be at least seasoned some. As for price...yes...its mildly high for a coffee shop. I usually pay between $27-30 dollars for a meal...and when you bring your family x4 it gets even more expensive. I have cut down my visits due to this. They are truly are a 5 star shop, but in the end...quality control and price have taken down them day today. read more

Grabbed a quick bite at the casino since I had a $15 food voucher. This place stays open all the time! I ordered the Steak and seafood without expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. They didn't have baked potato after 10:00 pm so I got the mashed. The shrimp came with cocktail sauce and sliced lemon. One is missing from the pic because I couldn't wait. The steak was huge and actually juicy. I ordered it medium and it was cooked exactly medium. This is by no means comparable to the great steakhouses Las Vegas has to offer but this deal , even without a voucher, is worth every penny! All that for $17.99. Wow, definitely coming back. The staff is super friendly, the only issue was that I was waiting for a bit for the bill but I just got up and paid on my way out, no biggie. read more

Open for dining services after COVID. This place is great if you're drunk and starving. The food is reasonably priced and they serve good portions. However, our waitress got my order wrong and did a terrible job fixing it. Both my fiancé and I got garlic fries with our sandwiches - he got garlic fries that were tossed with actual garlic chunks and were quite good. My plate arrived with regular fries :( our waitress was pleasant about taking the plate back to the kitchen, but all they did was pour a bunch of garlic powder on them!! Not only that, but my chicken sandwich was rubbery and chewy. We most likely won't come back here unless it's the middle of the night and we're drunk and hungry lol read more

We had a delicious dinner here tonight. I had the shrimp cocktail and tomato velvet soup - soup was fantastic! Whoever was in the kitchen needs an applause (1/1/21) My hubby had the bbq bacon burger and was very happy with it. Our server, Heidi, was really friendly and helpful. The ladies behind the cashier counter were very friendly as well. Service can make or break a place, regardless how good the food is. We felt welcome and will definitely return. I'm looking forward to checking out their breakfast in the future. We live 4 miles away and are happy to find a new good spot. read more

Came here for a late lunch on a Tuesday and the service was quick and the staff was seriously amazing and friendly. The lemonade was refreshing and light without being sickly sweet or tasting artificial: perfect! However, the food was pretty lackluster. I had the pesto panini and added avocado, but the chard chicken was rough to eat. Drowned it in ranch which made it pretty good along with the fries. My bf had the Cajun chicken Alfredo and there was barely any sauce. Almost like it was dried out and was leftover pasta from the day before. Again, the chicken was chard which left a burnt taste in the mouth. The garlic bread it came with smelled great but was rock solid and scraped the roof of our mouths. If we return, we will definitely be getting different food. read more

Not sure why the low reviews but I enjoyed my first time dining here. I have been to most of the eating areas at sunset station but have yet to check out the cafe'. One fateful day my mom suggested we try it when we met up for brunch. There was no wait, to be seated we were told instantly about the specials menu as long as you have a station players card which is free to obtain. Any who we opted for the 2 different breakfast specials that include; bacon, eggs, and pancakes. Each special was under $5 which is always good on the ole wallet. Our server was very nice and made the rounds quickly. Another positive attribute about the specials menu is that you can snag any of them 24/7. Wish they could add a few more things to the players club menu selection, but can't beat the price. We were both able to grab some good breakfast & 2 drinks for $12 not too shabby. read more

The food is ok, nothing special but prices are also good so it is what it is. The service is always super slow, but the servers are usually friendly and under staffed. Staggered, distracted employees with no hop-too when it comes to serving patrons. Walked in at 2 am while it was desolate. Was ignored for 10 minutes as I stood waiting to be greeted & seated in an empty establishment. Apparently gossiping & idling takes priority over acknowledgement of potential business. I ate here a couple times last weekend 6/9/22-6/12/22. Once for breakfast and once for dinner. Breakfast could of used more spice, but what a load! I definitely couldn't eat all that. The food here was DELICIOUS. Not only that though, the service was especially phenomenal. The time my party waited to get served was standard and nothing to rave about, but it wasn't slow. Front of house had issues today. It took almost 10 minutes to get waited on. The waiter had his shirt untucked for the entire service. It took about 28 minutes for the blue plate special and a chicken order. Cole slaw was in a tiny sauce cup so it was a single forkful. Fries were limp and undercooked. Fish special was greasy like the fryer temp was too low. Club soda was billed as Sierra Mist 2.99$ water refill took about 10 minutes and was served on request, not offered. Our table was by the kitchen so we had to listen to 3 employees talk about how they felt about their work schedules. Cashier didn't ask how our meal was, so I didn't tell her, I'm telling you instead. read more
