A Truly Exceptional Experience at Laneasa's Hair Studio! I cannot recommend Laneasa's Hair Studio…read moreenough! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and completely at ease. Laneasa is not only incredibly talented, but she also takes the time to really understand what you want and brings it to life only better. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and warm personality make every appointment feel like a luxury experience. The studio itself is clean, stylish, and has a peaceful vibe that makes you want to stay all day. Whether it's a cut, color, or styling, Laneasa always delivers flawless results. I've never felt more confident walking out of a salon! If you're looking for someone who truly cares about your hair and your experience, this is the place. Thank you, Laneasa, for consistently exceeding expectations!

It was a basic hair cut and she Charges 125$ which is too much for only a hair cut. My hair was clean, they washed it again. I said I do not want to brush she persisted on brushing. If I knew in advance that is how much she charges I would not go to that store. Also the store was very dirty. She used same towel for all the customers.

Holy. Sh-t. !!!!!!…read more I can't find enough superlatives to describe Enders and the Burrow team. Enders (in collaboration with Ryan) fixed my hot hot HOT mess of a "balayage" (for which I paid $$$$) basically on the fly, in a fraction of the time, at a small fraction of the cost. Jarrell at the front desk is amazing. More adjectives: cool, high-energy, positive, perfectionistic, artistic, welcoming, amazing playlist. Best salon by far in my 8 years in DC!! My only regret is not finding them sooner.

This was supposed to be a quick bang trim that turned into the worst haircut experience of my life…read more I went in for a trim and the stylist who cut my hair, Jen, made me extremely uncomfortable from the moment I sat down. First, I asked where I could put my bag down and she insisted it didn't matter and this would be quick and then was trying explaining how I wanted my bangs trimmed bc I want to grow them out and she was very dismissive about it and told me to relax and again, insisted that this would just be a super quick bang trim. I went to take my cardigan off bc I had waited around for a while and it got hot, and she said "whoa I didn't know you were going to get undressed." Generally, I felt rushed and thought that comment was weird but I tried to move past it, maybe she just a different sense of humor that's not for me but I don't really care, I just need a service done well, especially since I had to go to a wedding in 48 hours. But the part that bothered me the most was when she put the black cover around my neck, I went to move my hair from being caught under the black robe bc it feels uncomfortable for me, She literally said, word for word, "ma'am I need you to calm down. jeez people in this city are something else." I didn't know where she is from or what she thinks about people who live in this city but it is obviously very negative and was projected onto me. For context, my stylist was a white woman and I am a POC. FYI: People actually do have anxiety disorders and may need folks to be somewhat decent and welcoming in order to feel relaxed and not rushed in and out... I wouldn't have even cared about any of this if the haircut was good, but when I went home and brushed my hair properly it was literally cut at an awful uneven angle and Maybe they are nice if you're paying hundreds for a cut or color but they are not nice to folks going in for quick touch up services and apparently people in DC are "something else" so they already have preconceived notions about some of us I guess.

This is the MOST PROFESSIONAL Beauty Salon in Washington DC. They handle all hair types and they…read moreeven have a Color Bar. The ladies here do a wonderful job with hair care. They have excellent customer service and they cater to their customers' needs. Overall, they keep a really good time schedule and they make sure that you're in and out in a certain amount of time that they tell you as the estimate. I do also appreciate that they respect their customers time by doing this. I love that they have a point of sales system where you can pay by tap and that they don't really handle any cash, which is a good sign. Overall, this is the best hair salon in DC that I'm aware of. I trust them doing my hair, my daughter's hair, and I have referred people to come here. Thank you ladies!

New month, new business to support…read more This place is one of a kind, a gem which deserves to shine. The staff was friendly and my services were booked in no time. Very clean establishment They offer coffee, tea, or water to guests Festive decor with some halloween candy at the front desk lol how cute! My services were done by Sonya and I'll say this, you need to book a trichologist! If you're suffering from hair loss, hair damages, dermatitis, and scalp issues, book someone certified to not just style your hair but customize the right care for your hair. Sonya did just that and she was sweet, understanding, not scornful of my hair condition, and really made a dull hair shine again. As someone battling dermatitis, I booked a cut, moisture hydration treatment, and scalp exfoliating detox masks and honey...this service was just what I needed. Sonya carefully explained everything to me from things do refrain from if my scalp became flared and how to manage it in between. I'm so relieved to have found her because my hair was missing this level of care and support. I'm scheduled to return soon and cannot wait to continue this journey to healthy hair with a dynamic stylist. Book the appointment and if you need special attention to the state of your hair, book Sonya-you won't regret it.

If you want quality and painless eyelash extension, DO NOT GO TO HER!…read more She had to redo my lashes (the removal process was painful), they still weren't the quality I was looking for - the lashes were HARD and had A LOT OF GLUE on them. Since I had to travel, I did not care. I tried to come to her to get her to take them off, she never respond to my text message nor returned my phone call. I had a NovaLash stylist remove them, it should normally take 30 minutes, but it took 1 hour and 45 minutes. The removal process was painless. The eyelash procedure was completed the same way I have researched online, but with Sacona - it was NOT! I recommend that people go through a NovaLash stylist for eyelashes, they may be more expensive, but worth it! I was overcharged, but I believe in karma, so no worries! I used cash and I would NEVER recommend to anyone to use cash for a service EVER because your credit card and/or debit cards protect you against people that try to overcharge you. Please note, I am not taking away from her character, she is a great person with a wonderful personality, but as for her eyelash extension service - STAY AWAY!
