La Pizzarra delivered a thin-crust beauty loaded with quality pepperoni and well-seasoned meatballs. The sauce had just the right touch of sweetness, and the crust held up perfectly -- no flop, no soggy center, just a slice you could fold and enjoy. When you're on vacation and craving something familiar done right, this is exactly what you hope to find. A low-key win in the middle of the Hotel Zone. Highly recommend.

Really good pizza shop to have a bite…read more The pizza came quickly (~10 minutes) and was so flavorful. The big shrimpin' (~189 pesos) was our favorite - the shrimp was big and juicy! The fig was a bit sweet and not quite to my liking, but the veggie one was good. I loved that they had garlic oil and chili oil on the table. Service was good and attentive. You can order burritos and tacos here too, from the surfin burrito shop right next door. The only con is that seating is outside and it's hot, but thats Cancun for you! Not sure how much their hot drinks are, but I avoided the overpriced bottled water (San Pelegrino $9, Fiji $7) and bought that across the street at the Go-Mart for literally 1/10 the price. Employees making the food are super friendly. You pay for your order at the same place you would pay for a souvenir (long sleeve t-shirt $90US). People coming and going, traveling for many reasons, I wonder what they are??? How did they get to this place in life? Is it joyous? Are they triumphant? Are they sad and trying to get back home? Where do they live? Will they be a dick and stand up as soon as the plane hits the gates? These are the things I ponder while eating airport pizza. Guy Fieri would happily take going into his grave if he ever had to eat this. Much disappoint. The workers were nice, quick, and helpful, so this is nothing on them. The arugula/rocket I added was so fresh! And they have a chili infused olive oil that is a must to drizzle all over each bite!!!
