We had lunch today at Thai Marina 26th May 2026. It was very hot outside, but the first thing that…read morewas very evident, is they had air conditioning and that was a definite winner. We were looked after by a beautiful lady (Bar) and a man who did all the serving. They were excellent and made us feel at home. There were 3 of us and we opted for the Set Menu A. They allowed us to change one of the options because it looked a very hot option. We were over the moon with our choice. It was lovely and thoroughly enjoyed. When we go out for a meal, we go out to get the best restaurants and the cost does not enter the equation. As it was our bill came to £101 for 3 people, which we thought was excellent value. We thought it was a shame that they are where they are as there were not that many in the restaurant, whereas on the Brayford is was humming with people eating and drinking. We feel sure this restaurant would have been packed if the Restaraunt had been on the front as the footfall was amazing. This should not be taken as a negative but just an observation.

Highly recommend this new restaurant on Bradford wharf. Open entering, the excellent atmosphere…read moreand lovely decor had me very excited and the meal did not disappoint. The menu includes familiar favourites along with more unique options. My toddler made quick work of the classic pud Thai and the rest of the dishes were wonderfully flavoured without being heavy. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. EDIT: just wanted to update this review now that we've been eating there over the past year, the food continues to be top notch and even though I don't live in the city I use them as an excuse to drive into town! Absolutely the best Thai food in Lincoln!

For starter a had a very nice starter called Bocconcini Di Pancetta, which is baby mozzarella wrapped in parma ham and pan fried with caramelized red onion on a bed of rocket. It was amazing although you don't get that much it's well worth the money! also the garlic bread is very nice as well. I had a calzone pizza for main course, if you don't know what it is it is: a pizza folded once in half with the filling inside with a rich tomato sauce on the top served with some rocket. once again amazing! there are three different choices of fillings for the calzone there is: Mozzarella and Tomato, Bolognaise and Mozzarella, Chicken And Parma Ham. to be honest the chicken and parma ham is the best of the three. Are are many different dishes like pasta, chicken, risotto etc.... Great service and friendly staff not a long wait to order or receive the food and drink. Toilets nice and mostly spacious.

As you enter the restaurant it is hard to not be impressed with the classy decoration of the restaurant. The restaurant never seems to be busy and lacks atmosphere. Although the food is good, it is not exceptional. So I would conclude that the food does not necessarily match the prices charged. The staff were extremely polite and the service was second to none, but I would prefer to try the alternative Italian restaurant up the hill.

I had the moroccan lamb burger and my wife went for the falafel. We also got a portion of peri peri chips and cajun onion rings. The staff attending us were very polite and friendly. They were relaxed and took the time to answer our questions and presented us with alternative options, which was a nice thing. The milkshakes were rich and very tasteful. The lamb burger was done very well and the accompanimients that went into the bun complemented the patty very well. It was an optimum blend of the correct ingredients coming together that leaves you with a good taste and a satisfied tummy. The peri peri chips were massive and we could not finish the bowl. The onion rings were a bit too greasy and soggy. So we won't be ordering them next time. Overall, based on this experience, I would go back. I sincerely hope they continue to maintain these levels of taste, quality and service in a highly competitive and cut-throat market, where innovation and excellence are key to success.

It was piping hot, the chicken succulent and juicy and a decent size with the bacon not fatty at all! I asked for some fried onions to go in the burger as in extra and boy was that a good choice! It made the burger even juicier! There was cheese and BBQ sauce and hot sauce going on - just OMG! It's a shame it's in Newcastle - I need to fine one in London! My only chagrin was the hipster fries - I don't know how coleslaw dumped on top of a portion of fries constitutes it being hipster but hey ho! They were nice, I was just soooooo full from the burger and the peanut butter shake! Will definitely be trying to see if this place exists somewhere in London!

We came to Ask Italian in hopes of great pizza for dinner.we were generously seated without a reservation, ordered our food in which I ordered a pizza that had the option of adding Coppa ham. Our pizzas came, mine was without coppa. So I kindly asked the waitress to add it. I waited more than ten minutes while my boyfriend had his pizza and was awkwardly waiting for me to receive mine after the mess up. My pizza came - it was sensational- but I was astonished when the bill came and nothing was comped given the mistake on account of the waitress. I asked the first manager what was up. He returned my ask with an aggressive "well did you finish your food?". Are you kidding me? The senior manager soon after came over and asked why I was being aggressive while he stood over me like a school teacher instead of kneeling beside me to have a frank conversation. I explained I was a food blogger in the states and that this lack of kind customer empathy was pretty astonishing given how belittling the first manager was with his reaction. It could have been as simple as comping our water for their mistake, but turned into them accusing us of being aggressive. That's unacceptable. I've had better customer service at packed bars. All in all - amazing food. Crap managerial qualities and service. Definitely recommend they go back to hospitality school if they have at all. Won't be returning.
