Quite a busy Sunday breakfast spot! Did not book, but that was not a problem and seated fairly…read morequickly. Extensive breakfast menu with many dishes to choose from. Also, a good amount of veggie options, for those that prefer meatless. Bottomless coffee came with our breakfasts- always a good thing in my book when it comes to breakfast! Food was well presented and very generous! The poached eggs are real, as I had some shell in mine! Beans, fresh tomato, 2 slices of toast, bacon was a bit anaemic and possibly boiled not grilled/ fried? Sausages were ok and the potatoes- not really sure what that yellow curry looking sauce was, a bit salty but not too offensive! Probably would go without next time! A good experience, still as loud in the morning as it is lunch and dinner. Staff are lovely and do a great job!

I could give Damons 4 stars just for the decor; it is just like walking back in time. Did the last…read more30 years not happen for them? Seriosuly, though the decor is tacky, but so tacky it is cool. Think lots of black furniture and red, and tasteless patterns. It is so ridiculous it is cool. I liked it, anyway. As for the food, well...the menu is enormous, both in size and content. As it was only lunchtime when we visited (August 2010) we refrained from the enormous feasts and diverted away from something called Onion Loaf (it appears to be onion rings, but loaf-style). We opted to share a platter of ribs and side dishes. The ribs were great. Not necessarily the best I have ever had, but still good. The sides were ok - I would like my fries to be thinner and crispier. The service was excellent though and I found our waiter to be super-friendly. But the best part was the chocolate milkshake, the only wish with that was that it was too small! If you are on your way to Lincoln definitely stop by Damon's, if only for the experience.

We had lunch today at Thai Marina 26th May 2026. It was very hot outside, but the first thing that…read morewas very evident, is they had air conditioning and that was a definite winner. We were looked after by a beautiful lady (Bar) and a man who did all the serving. They were excellent and made us feel at home. There were 3 of us and we opted for the Set Menu A. They allowed us to change one of the options because it looked a very hot option. We were over the moon with our choice. It was lovely and thoroughly enjoyed. When we go out for a meal, we go out to get the best restaurants and the cost does not enter the equation. As it was our bill came to £101 for 3 people, which we thought was excellent value. We thought it was a shame that they are where they are as there were not that many in the restaurant, whereas on the Brayford is was humming with people eating and drinking. We feel sure this restaurant would have been packed if the Restaraunt had been on the front as the footfall was amazing. This should not be taken as a negative but just an observation.

This is real thai restaurant. They use Fresh ingredients…read more Everything was perfect. We Never expected to have such a nice thai food in England through experience ;-). It was so far the best. Lunch was great price for what you get. We had Pad thai chincken and lunch setA, which was green curry w rice and fried dumplings w chicken& prawn fillings. Lovely. Pad thai would be easier for beginners. Curry is bit spicy but can't stop digging. Total was abou17 but we left tips. Have never left any review before, but we were so upset people were eating microwave food from pub and pay more than 10pounds per person. Nobody thinks it is wrong. This good restaurant was empty and pubs arounds were full with pity food.

Never been here before and was a little overwhelmed by all of the notices and boards outside…read moreoffering various things. One of them was inviting breastfeeding women inside (great advertisement for pervs), but when I stepped inside there wasn't one private place for the mums to do this without being fully on show (definitely great for the pervs). It was empty on my arrival, apart from one couple, so it was easy for me to get seated. After I ordered a full breakfast I sat down and tried to take it all in. My illusions of a quaint little place were quickly squashed as I took it all in. The floors were filthy, walls scratched and marked, the windows and glass door were smeared in greasy finger marks, and the tables had crumbs and spill ages on them. I'd been sat 45 minutes and these hadn't been cleaned, no other customers apart from me so the two staff were not rushed off their feet. When my breakfast arrived it was smaller than I imagined, I'd paid £6.95 for 2 small sausages, 2 slices of bacon, 1 egg, 2 plum tomatoes, mushrooms, and 2 slices of toast. Notices everywhere mention the home cooked bread, which I was really looking forward to trying, but when I took a bite, the crusts almost broke my teeth! The bread was really heavy and doughy, not light and fluffy so I was really disappointed. The breakfast itself was ok but not something you would recommend. Not sure if the owner is on commission for selling confectionary, but it's a child's dream as sweets are everywhere! The staff were lovely though, so can't fault them, but this is one place I will not be returning to unless it gets cleaned up.
