This larger superstore seems to have everything. The chips from the cafe are great and cheap compared to most places i go.

An excellent supermarket located on Tritton Road. It sells the usual range of products and can boast an instore bakery which offers a wide range of tempting cakes. There is also a restaurant and petrol station. read more

This would be my second favourite store to Waitrose. Its located in a really easy place to get to, with plenty of parking, and the service of staff is great. Ok, its not the cheapest of supermarkets, but you get what you pay for. It has some lovely variety and produce and often you can pick up some great bargins in the fresh vegetable and fruit sections. The deli counters are fantastic here too. The household section can be hit and miss between expensive and good value, but always a look. The cafe here is nice too and quite large. However as its popular, its usually busy. read more

Our Sainsbury store on Tritton Road Lincoln, is as good as it gets, great selection of fresh foods, bread milk and Sugar, excellent, always available. Home and Wear Dept, well organised good quality products, esp for seasonal clothing..Staff always polite and ready to help. Flowers, great selection of fine wines, and home made cakes and bread, what more could we want Car parking., and fuel available at local prices...The restaurant /Cafe good consumeables...good bargains....comparable to local eating houses...Even the Trolly man is happy and smiles , and will help, with any Trolly problem, and much more read more

There is need to promote supermarkets that provide an excellent service and it is clear that there are a lack of reviews in the past few years despite the evidence of endless cuts to remain competitive. Sainsbury's then has a reputation for expense and snobbery, but who of those with that opinion have taken the time to spend money on quality products to cook a meal? Exactly (shop lifting for those with taste or live nearby with no taste) so Sainsbury's can be expensive, but again, it's standard comparison system identifies what you have made or lost on a weeks shop, which frequently amounts to competitive supermarkets being of less value for money AND therefore you get the discrepancy back. I never really have time to work out what benefit we have from various honorary points we may get, so i might suggest that the store do something simple instead of passing out bits of paper at the till to tell you what you have benefited from; so such as Co-Op identify what you may get as the average stop in shopper and receive quite simply a discount or Christmas bonus for shopping there. Has anyone all of a sudden found that life is too busy to sit down and read the bumf we get and use it to our advantage? Or has Sainsbury's still not quite lost the elite feeling that its shoppers are middle class women who don't need to work, using their time to sift the shop at leisure? Keep it sharp. The food produce is excellent, service excellent, clothes and cooking departments competitive and of good quality. read more
