Always a nice experience! Food great and service very precise! I always enjoy a chocolate martini for dessert. My friend tried their French Kiss Martini and it maybe my new favorite! You must try the spinach artichoke dip with deep fried pita chips! Fabulous!!!

After we spent the day biking and roaming around the town of Walker, we decided to grab a bite to eat. A quick search on Yelp, and we settled on The Boulders. We did not have a reservation, nor were we quite dressed for the place (which raised quite a few eyebrows, but who cares!) Place was very busy and was packed wall to wall. Hostess, while being snotty and rolling her eyes, was able to accommodate us even without a reservation. Wait staff was super friendly and had good recommendations from the beer list. I steered clear of the martinis as we had a 2 hour drive home. Welp, maybe next time..:( Menu was very diverse and not what we expected for middle of nowhere, Minnesota. I opted for the Penne Jambalaya and the missus chose the Paella. We each ordered the french onion soup as our side. Dinner rolls arrived very quickly and were obviously very fresh. Hard on the outside but very soft and fresh on the inside. French onion soup was very good. The paella was cooked in a tajine and was a lot of food. Very tasty. The Penne jambalaya was about par for the course. Plenty of leftovers between both dishes. The only downside was the utilization of the space here. It got very noisy at times and all we could hear was every word from other tables. Yeah, no one wants to hear about your Ancestry.com DNA results old guy looking for his long-lost family members! We'll return - of course we'll make reservations and maybe switch biking/outside clothes for something a little nicer. Maybe on the latter part. Just maybe.

Súper busy so we ate at the bar. Great service, food was good. Try to get a reservation in advance for outdoor tables.

Went twice this week with friends. Among us, six different entrees, all superb. Excellent service, with a smile. Will definitely return.

We've been going here for years and years and it steadily keeps going downhill each year. Tonight…read morethe dinner was pretty bad. The hamburger steak was just some little dried up hamburger on the plate with some vegetables that were actually cold. They felt like they just came out of the refrigerator. I wanted to tell the waitress that I preferred my vegetables to be warm but she never came back until dinner was over and brought the bill. When I brought it to her attention she paid no attention. I also asked for more iced tea and she came back with more tea but neglected to add any ice. $16.99 for this meal was definitely too much. Sad to say that after many years of eating here - we won't be back.

It looked busy when we walked in, but the young man seating us was nice. We were given silverware…read moreand menus, which had an interesting story about the history of their resort. At about the 10 minute mark my GF commented on how no one had been by. The young man who seated us asked a server to see us. About 15 minutes later we still had not been given water or even been seen by a waitress. A few minutes after that I saw two tables get seated and waitresses bringing them water and telling them that day's specials. At that point we walked out. I understand that being helped can take awhile when it's busy, but people seated after you being helped before you should never ever happen. If I could give negative stars I would.
