The store (which I think was once a Yoga studio) has 2 spacious rooms (front and back) and plenty of space to spread out and dive in. The selection is well curated (and organized) and priced accordingly. Hermeticus really requires multiple visits as there's so many exploration options. The person working the day I was there, was well versed in what topics I chose to bring up. I'll be sure to visit again the next time I'm in Ashland and hope that I can pull the trigger on a unique art piece or some personal literary masterpiece.

I recently traded a series of books and was shocked by the store credit I received. I traded a new series of popular books that are hard to get second hand. The series is so new it's still being sold in big book stores for $60. I received $1 store credit per book. I couldn't even get an older $6 paperback I found with that credit. I understand that's how they make money but I am still disappointed. I will now only come here to buy used. I would have rather donated to the library for that price, that way I could at least check them out again.
