It's been a while since I ordered the steak croissant, but they usually will go to the other kitchen to grab steak for me. The peach coffee smoothie was definitely something that can be inputted in the computer by your server at least a couple months ago. It's ice cream, cold brew, peach puree or fresh peaches, a bit of oats, and whipped cream. If this sounds crazy to you, don't be alarmed; it's heaven on earth!

The iced coffee is bold yet smooth with very little bitterness. if you're a fan of coffee the way god intended (black with nothing), you will be happy with their version. If I had to guess I would say that it's cold brewed. There is a decent selection of food items. On my most recent visit I had a croissant sandwich. It was pre-made and microwaved to warm it up, but it was tasty. My daughter had a chocolate muffin which she devoured with the quickness. The "Just OK" This is a small and narrow space with low ceilings. Each time I have been here it seemed as if all, or almost all, of the tables were taken up by folks who weren't leaving anytime soon. I am a big fan of working at a coffee shop, but if you've got whining kids, it is nice to have a place to sit, eat, and then roll out. There is a small parking lot next to the shop. I have never seen it when it wasn't full. There is ample street parking, but the curbs are low and not friendly to low vehicles. The service is hit or miss. My most recent visit was fine, but several others have been downright odd. One time the barista didn't know how to make the sandwich I ordered. I am pretty sure it just gets unwrapped and put in the microwave. Will I be back? I think so. It is a nice alternative to the chains. I just wish I had more tie during the week to stop in.

There is plenty of seating, a small outdoor area in the front, and a drive thru window! As I was exiting, I saw a little lake area in the back with women tables and chairs too. And in that moment I was reminded why I rarely ask for recommendations because my taste runs a little too refined for most. Nevertheless I turned to Maps and typed in "coffee," and the first option was an immediate no. But the second one, the name alone, told me everything I needed to know. The only problem, it was the opposite direction I was headed and I was already running late. But I couldn't ignore that instinct. I had to see for myself. "Sorry boss, can't come in today. I was on my way to work and then a gentle fall breeze blew me in the direction of my destiny and reminded me it is a serious thing just to be alive on this fresh morning in this broken world!" This latte is perfect, pure perfection. I grabbed a chocolate croissant too because they looked delicious and they absolutely delivered. Flaky, golden and brown and no I'm not describing myself. The pastries all looked heavenly. Everything was perfect. Sure, I'm having an exceptionally good day already, maybe because of the weather, maybe because it's Friday, or maybe because I'm an attractive single 6'3 male and ready for eligible suitors. There's a friendly staff and a great selection of collectibles and books in a true bibliophile environment. Volumes cover a variety of genres, but selection is especially strong in classic fiction, religion, children's favorites, and local authors. I saw all the works of Walker Percy, as well as other local notables. Book lovers should check this out.
