As a Funko pop collector, this was very disappointing to see that they changed the Disney display. I couldn't even look at any of the Funko pops that I wanted to look at because they were stacked up on the ground hidden in a bookshelf. Super disappointed with second Charles decision to do this.

You can bring them used books for store credit and then pick some "new" things from their shelves. They do have some new-new books though, and you can order new books through them. It's a small store, but has a pretty good collection all things considered. The store isn't visible from any major road, but it's on Bayou Lane, close to where it intersects with West Hall Ave. I suggest backing into the parking spots or parking just past the store, otherwise getting out can be interesting. Support small businesses and go get yourself some books!

They do sort the books into genres which is very helpful. They even have a section for kids books and New Orleans focused books. It is well organized, full of Thousands of books for $1 dollar (Not all books are one dollar, but more than half!). They also have DVDs, and kids books.There is a big shelf as soon as you walk in filled with the books that most kids have to read for their English classes, and most for $1. And then you are finished reading your books, you can donate them back to this facility and it goes to further the efforts of the Friends of the New Orleans Public Library.....win-win!! They have an excellent selection of local writers and locally-based work in addition to general fiction, nonfiction, LGTBQIA+, and more. There is also the Epilogue Bar if you want to enjoy a drink while reading the book you purchased. I picked up a few books centered around NOLA that were intriguing to me. The two staff behind the front counter were chatty and friendly as we made our purchases. It's a great location to check out at The Rink building in the Garden District.
