They told me to bring it back. I lived a half an hour away and couldn't get it back later. Had a mechanic look at it who told me I need a battery part. Bought the battery part. Brought it back. It was the wrong battery part complained about the absorbinant bill was told by Brett that there was nothing that could be done. I really felt that there should have been some form of return compensation for the amount of bill that I paid. I was not expecting the whole bill to be credited but just the fact that the boat never ran was upsetting. We've now sold the boat and have had no financial return or physical pleasure from driving that boat. It was a waste of time and money. If you use this company, be sure you check out their rates and fees before giving them the boat and have them give you an approximate time that the boat will be ready and if it's not ready then pull it because they're going to charge you more and more money. I will not go back to that company again..

I brought my boat to Duckett Marine for repair and service on 2-27-2026. I told Paul that the…read moreengine had an alarm coming in when up on plane normally above 4000 rpm. He told he would get to it in two to three days and would need it for two to three days. After 2 weeks I called and left messages when the voice mailbox wasn't full. Nobody ever returned my calls. At the 3 week point I did reach Paul and he said he just started on it that day. When I questioned why it was taking so long for what I was told would be do much sooner Paul, he would load it back on the trailer and I could come pick it up in the morning then and refused to explain any further. I then called Kevin to complain, and he said he would look into it. The only water it was put on was the pond on the Duckett site. I did ask to have them fix it as I wanted to get my boat back ASAP. It took over 3 weeks to get my boat back just to be told the issue was not fixed. To confirm I took it out the same day I picked it up on 3/21/2026 and the alarm came in within 5 minutes. I was told it never came on when they had in the pond. It was never put on the lake to test at the rpm I told them about. After taking the boat out the day I picked it up the alarm kept coming in the entire day. The engine also started to become sluggish when coming out of the hole and seems to have a vibration possibly. I emailed Kevin about this, and he never returned my email me or tried to reach out either. There is something really lacking in the service my boat received. I will never go back to this dealership or service department.
