I'm a single woman living…read morealone with her dog and over the past couple of months I have had some issues with my hot water tank and my kitchen sink leaking. As someone with not much experience with any of these issues (as I'm not a plumber), I hired Daniel Funk to assist. He "fixed" my hot water heater leaking, yet somehow after he "fixed it" it started to spit and sputter every time I turned on the hot water but I trusted him, as he was the expert. I hired him again to fix my leaking sink, asked him to fix both the hot water and cold water pipes. He only fixed the hot water pipe, and when I asked why the cold water side was still wet, he lied to my face and said it was "condensation". Once again, I trusted the "expert" to know what he was talking about. Unfortunately, the "condensation" ended up being a slow leak in the cold water pipe that I did not discover for a couple weeks. I reached back out to him and asked him to return to fix the cold water pipe that he chose not to fix the first time, and he refused to unless I paid him another $200. In my opinion, he seems to only want money. And as a traveling healthcare professional, I understand chasing the money.. but I also know how to be an honorable person. If I only did half the job I was hired to do the first time, I would return and finish the job I was hired to do without expecting to be paid again.. especially if my only doing half the job leaves a person without running water for over a week.

We were a couple days…read morefrom house closing and an out of state move when our RV trailer brakes froze and the wheel fell off, stranding the trailer in the street in our neighborhood. No other trailer repairmen would work on axles except for Freddy. He made numerous calls to try to locate an axle. When that was not successful, he was able to have someone weld a spindle to the axle and eventually get the trailer up and running. He went above and beyond making calls and exploring options because he knew we were in a pinch. Although he lived in williamsport, he responded to Nashvillemultiple times and had to deal with shipping issues with FedEx in the meantime. He was super friendly, professional and courteous. And his rates were very reasonable. He could have charged anything he wanted given our situation, but he didn't take advantage of it. He even took apart the other drums and repacked the bearings to make sure everything was in tight order. This is a guy you can trust and a guy who will do whatever it takes to help you out.
