Overall, I'd have to say, I was extremely underwhelmed with my experience at Trump National Doral. With that being said, there were some positive aspects of my time there and I'll start with those... As anyone would expect at a Trump-owned property, opulence was in abundance. One feels as if he/she is walking into the Taj Mahal when entering the hotel lobby. The course itself was in immaculate condition but is, in no way, worth the $400 green fee (or 4-hour drive from Orlando). And this brings me to the negative facets of Trump National Doral. If you just want to play on a course you've seen the professionals play on television, by all means, book a tee time at Doral Blue Monster. As an avid golfer and one that has played many courses frequented by the PGA Tour, The Blue Monster course was very underwhelming. Although plenty difficult, the layout is boring and feels like almost any other resort golf course in Florida. While we coughed up $25.00 per person for the caddie, he was not all that helpful to our experience. Rather then walking to our landing area to watch where the tee shots would end up, he walked 100-159 yards into the fairway and attempted to watch your ball flights through a rangefinder. One particular shot went into the tree area... Instead of walking to help look for the ball, the caddie remained on the green simply stating that the player did not get a favorable bounce. No yardage measurement or attempt to locate the ball so the player could play it (which he eventually found on his own!). Most offensive, the caddie chose to interject his political beliefs while waiting on the 18th hole! While we expressed a preference not to discuss the election, the caddy continued on about the Presidential Election and how anyone could possibly vote for his candidates opponent. Still, if these had been my only issues with the property, I would have been quite pleased with my experience had it not been for the greediness of the hotel, charging guests more money at seemingly every turn. The Sunday morning tee time had a price tag of nearly $400. When we went in the pro shop to check in, we were charged a $25 forecaddie fee (in addition to the suggested $25 gratuity for the caddie). I've played many courses that require the use of a forecaddie and I've never been charged a fee by the course. The merchandise in the shop and the beverages in the bar were, of course overpriced - $120 shirts and $5 gatorades. Upon completion of the round I walked to grab my car from valet where I was informed that despite a $400 round price tag, I was informed that I would be charged an additional $20.00 for the valet. While you would think maybe self parking was complimentary, no it's $5.00 per hour! Needless to say, we were quite unimpressed with the experience at Trump National Doral.

It's a bloody shame that money and sponsorship issues have the PGA move away from this venue. By far one of the most challenging courses I have played. Water and sand every where and small strips of grass. We where there in driving rain and only a few weeks before the tour as grand stand etc was being put up! It looks hard on tv and it's even harder in real life. Expensive but done top notch my only knock on the facilities is the range. Hitting of matts just isn't my thing at 450.00 a round The 18-hole "Blue Monster" course at the Trump National Doral Golf Club facility in Miami, Florida features 7,450 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 74.5 and it has a slope rating of 130 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Raymond Floyd/Jerry Pate/Greg Norman/(R) Gil Hanse, the Blue Monster golf course opened in 2013

I think how much you'll enjoy this depends on how crowded it is. My girlfriend and I came here on…read moreSunday around four to do the unlimited rounds, and on the first course they start you on--Sapphire--it was too crowded. There were huge groups all over and kids running around, and all of the holes are pretty close to each other, so we felt a little cramped while waiting a while for the big group ahead of us to play through. As we continued playing, and headed up to the two courses upstairs--Emerald and Ruby--the crowds thinned out and we were able to have more fun. No more long waits to play and more space to breathe and not feel like people are all over you. As for the courses themselves, my favorite and recommended course is Sapphire. It has the most unique and fun course design. Emerald and Ruby basically have the same course design, and were not as fun. The only downside is that Sapphire seemed to consistently be the most crowded course. In between rounds we stopped for a drink at the bar and got the non-alcoholic spritz, which was not very good. We didn't try any of the other food or drinks though. All told, I'd come back, but only later at night when it's less crowded.

She completely ruined my experience on that course by being rude, she didn't let us type in the number the way we had been doing it so she messed up our leaderboard and score tracking. She was absolutely the worst. I would never go back because of her. The place itself is fine. There's only 3 courses which isn't much variety, other Puttshacks have 4. I feel like there's a lot of wasted space. There's also a lot of glitches on some of the obstacles. The one air hockey one didn't give you the bonus like it was supposed to and most of the moving pieces were glitching or completely broken and the starting point on many of them were broken. The 25$ all you can putt deal is fantastic though. I absolutely love this deal and would purchase it any time. But I would never go back to this location ever.

Frankenstein's Mad Scientist Cocktail Lab - Miami…read more Frankenstein's Mad Scientist Cocktail Lab - Miami What an amazing scientific experience! From the moment I stepped in, the vibe was electric--literally! The bartender, Alex, and his beautiful blonde assistant made the interactive mixology show both comical and engaging. Their signature "Electric Jolt - It's Alive!" experiment packed a real punch (in all the best ways), while the "Divination" -- which I lovingly call the Blue Balls -- was pure magic in a glass. The food was just as impressive. The Blackout Nachos had a surprising hint of curry that made them unforgettable, and the Ectoplasmic Wings struck the perfect balance of sweet with a touch of spice. This place is not just a bar -- it's a full-on mad scientist experience you can taste, see, and feel. Can't wait to come back for another experiment! Make sure you sit at the bar for the best experience and comedy. Alex the is what the experience great! This was far better than the New York's. High recommend!

Had a really great time at Puttery! A friend held her birthday party here. They rented one of the…read morerooms, which served as a central hub as we progressed through three putt putt courses. The courses were super cute, really fun theming and high effort decoration. The actual mini golf itself was a little bland; every hole we went to was Par 2 and had at most one interesting feature, many were just a straight shot with an incline. The food was surprisingly pretty good, the guacamole in particular was a standout. The drinks were alright, I got an espresso martini and the "Drop Me Off in Wynwood". Definitely didn't regret either but I feel like there's at least one higher level in quality they could get to. Speaking of dropping me off on Wynwood, parking was a situation for everyone who drove from our party, the nearby lot was over 50 bucks and double charged one of our party. I was lucky and found a street spot (but only had a 2 hour limit), probably should have just gotten a Lyft or taken the bus. Noise levels were totally fine; we were there at open on a weekend day so it was pretty dead at the time, surely very different vibe at night. All in all a great experience, definitely recommend for anybody looking for a chill way to spend an afternoon with a group.

The food and service were okay overall, but I really wish the timing process had been explained more clearly when we first arrived. We started with 30 minutes of play time and assumed that window would also give us time to decide what we wanted to eat. Our food arrived about five minutes before our time ended, and we were told we would need to extend. We said we wanted to eat first and then restart our play time after. At first, they said that was fine, but then someone came over and added time without fully explaining it. We initially thought it might be complimentary, but it ended up being charged, which was fine. When that time was ending, they came back again asking if we wanted to extend. We explained the same thing, and that is when they told us we could not finish eating at the bay and would have to move into the restaurant. If we wanted to play again after, we would have to go through the whole check-in process again. At that point, we agreed to extend one more time and eat while playing. That said, the food itself was great. The service was great and our spot was clean and nice when we got there. We ordered the hot honey pizza and the lemon pepper wings, and both tasted delicious. It was not a huge deal, but it was a little frustrating since none of this was explained upfront. A clearer explanation from the beginning would have made the experience smoother.

There was a lot of parking available, the venue is enormous, all the hitting bays provide a very private, comfortable sitting and enough space for us to enjoy golfing. Spacious, heated space and incredible technology that showcase their ultra high-tech golf balls while you aim at the outfield targets. You can even see your golf ball and score in a monitor while you play! This feature made the night super enjoyable and fun. The staff members are friendly and attentive. We really like this venue because there was security at all times and a lot of space. Our hitting bay was located on the 3rd floor. The amenities include free golf clubs many different styles and sizes, also unlimited balls and many games. My favorite was Sonic! We reserved the bay space for two hours, every hour for $30. When we registered before playing we paid six dollars (6), for each of us. You need to become a member and pay that amount if it's the first time visiting. The interactive app shows the scores in the screen located on your space. The food was delicious but the price for drinks were not listed on the menu however, we order a pitcher of beer and the funday faves platter that was delicious and shareable. The young lady who took care of us provided a top notch service including helping us to keep my sister birthday cake cold. Highly recommended! The topgolf venue opens until late mostly every day. Free parking, free wifi.

We ate at Corsair for dinner one of the nights and the food was wonderful. We also had the breakfast buffet, which you can get at Corsair or Bourbon Steak, which was tasty with a pretty good selection of food to choose from. The staff was so friendly and willing to help with whatever we needed. There's a Starbucks on the property with plenty of seating to sit and enjoy some coffee or your choice of drink. Tidal Cove, which is their water park/kids allowed pool, is also on the property and guests of the hotel can visit during the entirety of their stay for free. I think there's a restriction to the number of people, but we didn't have to worry about it since it was just my husband, me, and our young son. There was a kid's section with slides and shallow water, and there was a large pool for adults and kids, and then there was a "bigger kids"/adults section with much larger slides. All of this surrounded by a lazy river. The water is meant to be warm but it was pretty cold the first two days. Maybe the heater wasn't working but it was much better for the remaining days. There's a small restaurant that serves all kinds of food (they also have a kid's menu). There's also an ice cream shop, arcade, and a gift shop. It tends to get pretty crowded, particularly on the weekends. They accommodated us with a crib for our son at no additional charge, which was really nice. Now, the things that knocked off stars for us. It just doesn't feel like a 5 star resort. Things seem outdated. Their key card system was down and we were stuck in the garage for 20 minutes waiting in line to be let out (this issue was eventually somewhat fixed). The parking cost $45 for self parking PER DAY ($32 if you're just visiting Tidal Cove) and it was $55 for valet. I understand it's a high end hotel, but parking should never cost that much, ESPECIALLY for hotel guests. There really isn't much else to do if you're there for vacation if you're not going to Tidal Cove. Two restaurants, water park, and that was it. (Not including the Golf Course). I don't know, I guess I just expected more. The hotel isn't located near anything exciting. The mall is walkable distance, as well as the grocery store, drug store, and a park, but if you're looking to vacation somewhere where you can walk out and get excitement, this is not the place. I don't think i'd come back. I'd probably try somewhere close to South Beach next time.
