What do you do with an old barn? Convert it to an amazing cafe, store, flower shop, of course! The Blue Egg store sells greeting cards, wines, soaps, incenses, jams and chutneys, biscuits, chocolates, kitchen gadgets, olive oils, and toys (be sure to check out the hand puppets!).
The Cafe Knead is right next to the shop and it serves breakfast, light lunches and afternoon tea as well as homemade soups, quiches, sandwiches made with freshly baked bread, and salads. Their baked goods include pastries, scones, cakes (cheesecake, carrot cake, chocolate cake), lemon tart, cookies, fudge and brownies. There were also many gluten free options. You place and pay for your order at the till, then take a number and a staff member will bring your order to your table.

It's difficult to get a clean table during busy hours. read more
