The food here is amazing, truly a gastronomical experience and worth the trip. A lot of thought has clearly gone into every dish, from how it tastes to its presentation. This place fully deserves its reputation.
The service, however, was disappointing. Our waiter was a young man, who while nice enough, was not as polished as the kitchen. When I asked him about a £100 bottle on the wine list, he replied, "Er, I don't drink a lot of wine." This is the management's fault, and if they're putting so much obvious effort into the food, they should ensure their front-of-house staff is equally professional. read more
