In searching for a laundromat near me, what sold me on the Tide Laundromat was reading that you don't need your own detergent or dryer sheets. It's true, they have everything you need right there which makes this a very reliable and accessible laundromat. I highly recommend downloading the Tide Laundromat app which makes it super easy to load money onto your account and pay for laundry services. You have to load a minimum of $10 which isn't bad since I only paid around $4 to wash a medium sized rug and I think about .75 cents to dry (.25 cents for 6 minutes and .25 extra for each minute). They have various sizes of machines and the prices are on par with what you would find at other Laundromats in the area. They have TVs and a row of chairs and that's pretty much it as far as comfort. There is a McDonald's down the street so I guess you could grab something to eat while passing the time. I went mid morning on a weekday and the crowd was fairly small, and everyone pretty much minded their own business. Also while drying one of my blankets I discovered that no heat was coming from the dryer so I had to stop and put the blanket in another dryer which wasted about 50 cents.
