I had my second facial with Krystal and it was absolutely amazing. Her space is so tranquil and so is her energy, as soon as I entered the space I started to feel calm and relaxed. Everything is very comfortable and welcoming, light and airy. The entire session was rejuvenating and also cathartic. My recent facial with Krystal was amazing! I have really dry, sensitive skin with a splash of rosacea and she really took the time to listen to my needs and work around them. My skin hasn't been this moisturized in a veryyyyyy long time. She told me what each step was and broke down how it would help me on a molecular level. She also dug out this knot that had been bugging me in my shoulder, it was intense but I feel sooo much better now. On top top of this, we did a lot of breathwork and she made sure I was sending energy to the right places. It is totally worth the drive to get the full zen experience!! Krystal, (who is literally the sweetest person I've ever met) greeted me at the gate with a beautiful hibiscus flower for my hair, a refreshing glass of lemon water and a warm smile! The zen shack is on a gorgeous property with tons of beautiful plants, banana trees & palm trees, which immediately makes you feel relaxed. The Signature Facial was amazing! Krystal has such a calm and soft touch. She explained what she was doing and the products she was using, but told me that this was "my time" and I could spend it how I wanted (chat with her, fall asleep, listen to music etc.) which I really appreciated! One of my favorite parts was when she gave an amazing massage while the face mask was on and I never wanted it to end!! But when it did end, I asked if I could somehow get a monthly membership because I need this in my life all the time! She took her time, and talked to me about my skincare needs...even shared some resources for me to learn more about my problem areas. The space: located in a private space on a tropical property full of fruit trees and tropical landscaping. I had such a great experience with Krystal. I had her signature facial, as well as red light treatment. The property is gorgeous, and the shack is so relaxing and quiet. I really appreciated that Krystal is able to pick up on when to chat, and when to be quiet - I can sometimes feel awkward with beauty/spa services when I'm not on the same wavelength with the provider. I also really appreciated reviewing the products with me ahead of time. I'm allergic to argan oil, and my mom is allergic to tea tree oil, so I stay away from those kinds of products. Krystal was also great at discussing my specific concerns about aging, and what can be done regularly for me to help maintain my skin's health. I was lucky enough to have found Esthetics in Bloom on Yelp as a last stop before hitting the road back to town from North Shore. I booked a Rose Quartz Facial with Krystal and I really don't know where to begin about how incredible the experience was. I've worked in the beauty industry for many years now and now run my own successful business driven by passion. I can recognize a beauty practitioner who has the healing touch, and who is also driven by her passion. When you work with your hands, you are literally giving your energy to your client. Krystal has that incredible special energy that even I as an empath (who has the tendency to want to always give my ample amounts of good energy to others even when I'm receiving services) to lay back, relax, and enjoy receiving energy to allow me to refresh and restart for a change. Her space is a clean fresh space that you would wish to do some yoga in. The doors open up to a giant green space facing the direction where the sun makes the sky glow. The facial was AMAZING. During the mango and avocado season I get crazy sneezy, puffy faced and from time to time even lose my voice. It had been two weeks of constant sneezing and a voice that was not quite right, and with the combination of her hand massage on my face to locate/loosen/move the blockages and the rose quartz she really knew where to work on my face! I had NO IDEA how blocked up my sinuses were. And the rose quartz I felt really help unblock some parts of my face that were really blocked up and did not want to move. I've never really felt my face until Krystal worked on it! The next day all the stuff she moved around nicely came out and I regained my voice on the second day. All my sinuses were clear, my face and voice were beautiful again. Oh and did I mention she infuses the water she steams your face with, with concoctions of flowers and herbs?!? And her hand made lip scrub has lifted off all my dry lip skin build up and has become a part of my weekly self care ritual at home in between treatments! I've been to so many "spas" in town and they're usually in very odd creepy questionable buildings, and perform basic (slather the avocado or whatever fruit on the face & gently quickly rub lotion into the face) facials... I've never been satisfied, and I thought nothing could ever reach my expectations, but Krystal's method and North Shore location is AMAZING. All I've ever really wanted was the Four Seasons spa experience without the commitment/obligation of having to spend a full day in a touristy resort space. I run a small beauty business and let's be real, I need "pick me ups" more often than most but with a reasonable time commitment and at a price point I can afford multiple times a month. With Esthetics in Bloom, I get the professionalism, ambiance, and product quality of a Resort Spa in a very private, clean refreshing, and client wellness focused space.
