I hate getting my hair cut. I find it awkward and almost always disappointing. But in this case, it was an all around pleasant experience. My haircut is exactly what I asked for. I can see why Lauren has such good reviews. read more

Lauren has been my go-to for over 3 years now! She can do the best fade every single time and its not even close. With that being said, recently my hair has been longer and the cuts are always exceptional regardless. Always great vibes/conversations and I leave feeling fresh and clean 100% of the time. Lauren is the best! read more

I have been going to Lauren for 2 years - She is the best! She crushes my low taper fade and difficult hairline swoop every time! It's amazing when someone can make you look younger. She's personable and enjoyable to talk to which takes the experience to the next level. read more

Lauren is amazing! I have kept my hair long most of time and it's hard to find a barber that cuts men's long hair and makes it look great! I have been going to Lauren for years, and will wait for her for weeks, if I have to, because she cuts my hair perfect every time. As a bonus my wife absolutely loves my cuts... and that is a huge win! Lauren all the way, professional barber, great conversations.... Amazing service.... Always. read more

Best barber in Santa Barbara hands down! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair. Trust me.

I moved back to Santa Barbara 3 years ago and was looking for someone to cut my hair that I could trust. I found Lauren and have never looked back. She creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and I always leave feeling more confident and happier with the way I look. If you are looking for a great experience, and one of the best stylists in Santa Barbara, look no further! read more

Lauren does an amazing job with men's haircuts and beard trims. I go into her salon looking like a man who was lost in the forest and come out looking the best I ever look. I always get compliments after I see her and she is fast and easy to book. I spent years trimming my own beard and going to la for haircuts and finding Lauren has been a huge life improvement for me. read more

I think I can honestly say that I've been a customer of Lauren longer than anybody. I met her when she was working in a Montecito barber shop making a decision whether or not to go to barber college. That was probably a dozen years ago, which doesn't make sense because she looks like she can't be older than 24. I am SO, SO,SO glad she took the plunge. She is not only the best barber I have ever had but she's one of the nicest people I have ever met. I followed her to the shop on State Street and now to Chandler Salon on Chapala street. Would I recommend her? Yes of course I would, in fact I have several times and always had the OMG!!!! She's AMAZING reaction. I might add that beyond a great hair cut she does a very awesome straight razor shave. Btw do you know why barber poles have that red spiral going down them, oh never mind I'm getting off subject. So bottom line is that Lauren is the best, no wait she is the Best of the Best and I I could not sing higher praises in any Yelp review for any business. If you look at my profile you might notice I've reviewed a business or two. And no other review has come close yo the accolades I have expressed for Lauren. read more

If you live in Santa Barbara and aren't getting your hair and beard done by Lauren, you are missing out and taking unnecessary risk. Lauren is always super friendly and interested in "what the plan is" when I sit down in her chair. She really takes the time to listen to what I envision for both my hair and beard. I have changed styles quite a bit over the past two years and Lauren has always taken the time to understand what I am thinking and I have always been more than happy with the result. I have recommended her to everyone one of my friends, the ones that have gone to see her continue to go back to her. I have no problem telling anyone that asks, "Lauren is awesome! Go see her you won't be disappointed. read more
