I love the vibe of this shop. It feels like I'm hanging with my boys! Every barber is great. I've never had a bad cut, but Tim is my go to guy. read more

I lucked out on selecting this place for my sons first haircut. We don't live in the area, if we did the nanny would be writing the review. We do regularly go to zoo and stop by this shopping center. This little Barber shop always radiated good vibes and had a Nostalgic quality that I couldn't put my finger on until I got inside and learned more about the history of the place. Steven had the honor of cutting my sons hair and it could have gone a lot of different ways. He was so incredibly patient, thoughtful, detailed in ensuring my sons comfort and simultaneously taking care of business cutting his hair. He communicated with me throughout the entire cut and I was very happy with the end result. This is a multigenerational family run business and I'm glad that I could be supportive and got great service. Oh, and as a woman, I've never actually been into a barber shop.... and I did with a cup of coffee. Never again. I didn't take into account all the little hairs and the potential for cross contamination. Did I continue to drink my coffee? Yes. Was I grossed out while doing so? Also yes. read more

Great customer service, very fair price. They always answer the phone and try to fit you in to your schedule. Multi generational historic place will always be a legacy in Montecito. Nobody is too famous for this classic. read more

Awesome, friendly old school vibe. Tim is skilled, creative, personable & instantly made my son feel comfortable. Definitely our new barber. A bit pricey, but worth the cut. read more

Too expensive. Been to other barbershops around town and this place is okay for the hefty price tag.

cut and a shave from Team Tim. so fresh and so clean now. The vibrating wrist massage to finish is a happy ending everyone will enjoy! read more

Montecito Barbers - Barbers Near Me - Santa Barbara, California

I was talking to my barber Nick about Yelp and there were no reviews for them so here it is... Montecito Barber Shop puts the rest to the test! Old school feel, shop dog, reebs offered, they listen to what you want and are good at what they do. Being new in town I needed a barber, tried a few but...until now. Great vibe, good price, good location and I've found my spot! Every time I need a haircut I'll slam on the brakes, slide across the hood and do a shoulder roll into this joint. Skoal to Montecito Barber Shop!!! read more

We went here for my nephews 1st haircut. Tim did a great job, and he had the patience for him. He turned on cartoons for him and lets us play his nursery rhymes. Will definitely be coming back for his future haircuts! read more

Montecito Barbers - The 1st snip. And he's busy watching cartoons. - Barbers Near Me - Santa Barbara, California

Best haircut in town! I've had haircuts from all of the barbers and been stoked on all of them. The atmosphere is amazing and I tell all my friends this is the spot. read more

One of the best barber shops in the area. Normally I usually have to do a bunch of self corrections when I get home from other places, but its not the case here. I usually get traditional short cuts here for $25, and my favorite thing is that they spend a great deal of attention on my line and my taper, best taper in my life so far hands down. Good group of guys, Issac does a great job, and the owner Tim is a cool guy as well. Third time is a charm, so these guys win my vote. read more

I had my hair cut here 2 years ago, and I thought they did a good job. When I returned today, no-one was wearing a mask. The young fellow who was to cut my hair said, "I don't even have one." As of 12-15-21, masks are required in all indoor settings in California. When I turned to leave, a more senior barber insisted that I pay for the appointment (which I had made by phone 3 hours earlier). When I declined, he followed me out of the shop and asked that I never return. read more

I always take two boys here for haircuts. They love the TV inside and the owner always lets them choose the show they want:)) Tim is always friendly with them and after a while he knows we have a strict schedule and he is doing the best he can to have both boys on chairs in the same time. Convenient location and nice vibe. When the dog is there is more fun for the kids:)) Have a super summer, Tim! See you in the fall:)) read more

Classic barber shop. The guys do a great job and Tim runs a tight ship. Always perfect couldn't ask for anything more.

Best place to get your haircut in town! Talented and friendly barbers!

I've been coming here for years. Everyone who has cut my hair here has done a great job.

Love this place. I goto Tim and love my haircut every time. From what I see, the other barbers are great too. There's a barber for every kind of person from young to mature. The atmosphere is light, friendly and I leave laughing every time. They are very accommodating with times and the prices are great. I highly recommend Montecito Barbers to everyone. Also this place is great for people watching. The scenery is lovely. read more

If you're looking for a solid place to get a cut this is it. Always busy so make an appointment.

Old school shop w/ cutting edge personality. Generations of tradition on both sides of the chairs. Amidst the "Swimming' pools, movie stars...", is some down home comfort. Just the type of place the Clampetts would love to set a spell. read more

Fantastic spot! Great modern barbers with a deep rooted heritage in their location. They can do it all! Fantastic! BEST in SB

I live 20 minutes away but it's worth the drive. I trust all the guys there and I always leave happy. Always Good barbershop vibes there.

Guaranteed fresh! Make sure you ask for Tim, but make sure you call for an appointment.

Been going to Montecito Barber's for nearly 2 years now. I won't go anywhere else. Tim always does a great job and offers me a beer. Chill vibe, great company, and always at least one corny joke. I'd recommend an appointment, give 'em a call, you can't go wrong with this spot. read more

Tim and company run this place like a proper barber shop with friends, guests, and locals. They keep me tidy and my girlfriend likes it so why would I stop going there? I take it this place is going to be around another 25+ years as they have truly cemented their place in this Montecito location. read more

I decided to try a new place so I called in an appointment and came in. I wasn't really sure how to explain the type of cut I wanted but Jeff seemed to know exactly how to do it and it was hands down the best haircut I've ever had. Since then it's been nonstop compliments and numbers from the ladies. Very reasonable price too ($25). I'll definitely be back. read more

Fun place, great haircut. I never feel like I am being rushed out of the chair. The barbers always take their time and do a great job.
