I mentioned to the waitress that I ordered it hot and buttered, she said thy only do them cold. I told her I would have appreciated knowing that up front, when I literally said "hot and buttered". Had I known, I would've gotten something else entirely. She apologized for not hearing me (aka listening to my order), but I told her I would eat it as is. I cut the lobster roll in half. In one half, I got three pieces of shell. Three. The third of which I thought chipped a tooth. I sat in shock as I pulled out the shell and checked my tooth. We notified the waitress. She asked if I wanted to take the other half to go. I told her there were too many shells to risk it. She took it to her manager and he took 25% of the lobster roll off the bill. It truly felt like adding insult to injury. The manager didn't have the balls to come over and talk to us personally, coward move. We will not be returning. The down side is besides your simple snack foods (chicken wings, fries, and mozzarella sticks) there is no real food. The atmosphere is a classic dive bar with decent clientel. There is also a DJ on Saturday nights who packs the house for a good time.
