This was the dive bar of my 20s. It's not a fancy bar, but it was always a good time. The drinks were always good. The bar tenders always great. Reasonably priced. It had pool tables, darts and a music box. Food was decent too. I loved that it was in walking distance to my house. I've been a few times in the past few years and it makes me miss my younger days. After reading some of the reviews and speaking with the owner and staff, it should be cleared up that this is not a prejudiced bar,its just common sense to not allow drug dealers and gang activity inside or around the premises- Violence affects all.Trouble affects all. There are MANY establishments in the state that have the same rules about proper dress posted to their doors(i.e. club Alex's ,the foxy lady ,the ale house,the chateaux, T Bones,the list goes on). No Colors= No MC vests/ gang Colors (again,common sense). Its Priced decently. They have an ATM on site (its cash only). Bartenders are attractive and food/service is good. Bathrooms are clean. Parking is limited however. Open until 2am most nights. read more

Nice Bar - Just OK I will say a few words about this place. Not many people in this bar. I stayed at the Sea Port Inn, and wanted to watch the soccer match, so I came to this place. Here is what I think, in very short words: It is a very basic sports bar, mainly catering to the locals of Fairhaven. Nothing special, but I would like to mention the fact that the servers are really friendly. This is not a place that you would recomend to a friend. For me, yes... it was OK to go and watch the game, but I don't think it was out of this world... but also it is not "hell". Absolutely disgusting management/owner is extremely prejudice! I was asked to leave the establishment for having sweat pants on..I DID NOT HAVE SWEAT PANTS ON I had adidas track pants on after playing a game of soccer we decided to get something to eat and a few beers Rasputin's was our choice of the night . We racked up a $250 dollar bill and right in the middle of eating I was informed I had to leave do to my pants and was told I could change them And come back. I was informed this by a man with a bandana across his face and another bouncer wearing sweatpants . At this point I suggested both these employees should read the dress code . And if they wanted me to leave they would have to have me removed by the police . I was not going anywhere. As a result of the excitement patrons at other tables began to ask questions and informing me that the owner does not like black people in his establishment. Long story short the owner got so upset about me not leaving he closed his entire restaurant early . Did not call police due to him being in the wrong . I like to just take off on my weekends and this last one went to New Bedford, stayed in Fairhaven. I got there a bit before check in so googled bars. RT popped up close to the hotel, and I like Russian history, so I went. Friendly crowd and bar tenders in bikinis.I was happy. Bar tenders nice and competent, beers were cold and lots of laughing. Went back next night and no bikinis, but competent and nice bar tenders. Prices very reasonable. If in town again, I'll gladly go back, it's exactly what I want in a neighborhood bar. read more

I payed cash all night like the bar follows. It's a cash bar with an ATM inside because it's cash only. As I was getting to my car the bartender followed me out and stated I had a tad. If you're in Fairhaven for any portion of time... you WILL find this place or shall I say this place WILL FIND YOU... AAAGGHHHH. Darts, pool, big screen TV's, juke box and we're not a 100% sure because every time we go we get really drunk but we think there might be a fireplace. Miss Massachusetts works the bar on Sundays and Tuesdays. THEY ONLY TAKE CASH but they do have an ATM. Some of their weekday specials are 50 cent pint beers and 2 dollar tall boy PBR's. Crazy to wait tem min for a drink bc bartender is mia then i order a double shot chilled with sprite on side with lime and i get my shit with sprite in it then i have to ask for sprite and then lime again and pay for and drink a drink not how i ordered it. There is 10 people in place all with drinks. I was going to go to millers but work in fairhaven so stopped here rather than.i bartend and if i made a mistake i would fix it not have someone pay for drink they never ordered. Bartender is pretty but service should mean more than looks. I dont mind waiting bc she may have been gone for a legit reason but idk i saw her outside at car when i walked in. I really just care about not getting what i ordered and when i aporoached her about it she said idk what to tell u. Terrible. I will never return. After a couple of rounds of drinks my friend and I ordered some wings for our table. About 35 minutes later we asked for an update. They proceeded to tell us the kitchen closed over and hour ago. Why would you accept my money and not tell me that when we ordered! To make Maters worse they even tried to avoid refunding the money, I was so upset. The next round of drinks we got was comped but the value didn't exceed what we spent or even match it. Rude, very rude. Did I mention forgetful bartender? Went to get our second round had to ask twice. She completely ignored me. Second time was a charm and I got my drink. There was only the group of 5 I came with and two other people on the other side of the bar. Maybe let it slide if she was crazy busy. She was very snotty and never said she was sorry for forgetting me. I was not rude and never pointed out that she forgot my drink. The eye roll on drink delivery was a nice touch. She seemed annoyed at being there. Like the look of the place in the inside but looks seedy on the outside. Food looked good that someone else ordered but I did not want to put princess out by demanding any more of her time.
