Most places don't open until at least 11am, and many don't have boba ready until an hour after opening. I wasn't familiar with Milk Tea Lab, so I made sure to try the drinks first before placing a larger order. I was so happy to find that they were able to prepare and deliver our order to a park in Fremont at 9:30am on a Sunday! Each drink comes with your choice of one topping, and I was able to choose three different drink flavors with a different topping for each. When I tried the drinks beforehand, I found them a little sweet, but Wan was very accommodating and adjusted the sweetness for our order. We ordered Tiger Milk Tea with boba for those who didn't want caffeine, Mango Green Tea with honey boba, and Jasmine Green Tea with lychee jelly. Everyone really enjoyed the drinks, and they even threw in a few extra! For delivery, the minimum order is $50 with a $25 delivery fee, but orders of $100 or more qualify for free delivery. If you're looking for boba catering for a party, school event, gathering, or any occasion--especially if you need an early delivery--I highly recommend giving Milk Tea Lab a try!

Everything was clearly labeled, organized, and easy to navigate, which made the experience feel elevated and thoughtful. The food was incredible. For cocktail hour, they prepared an amazing spread of appetizers: fresh guacamole and salsa, esquites, and tinga empanadas. Dinner featured a taco bar with cochinita pibil, pork al pastor, and grilled steak, along with a variety of flavorful salsas and toppings, rice and refried beans, and refreshing aguas frescas (we had horchata and cucumber lime which were so delicious). The salsas, in particular, were all incredibly unique and packed with flavor. Their team also provided attentive, professional service throughout the event, kept everything clean and organized, and created a smooth, enjoyable dining experience for all our guests. We received so many compliments about the food--it was honestly one of the highlights of our entire wedding. I've attended many weddings and have never been particularly impressed by the food--until ours. Supporting a local business that so clearly takes pride in their work made the experience even more meaningful. We were even lucky enough to have leftovers, which meant we got to continue enjoying their amazing food after our wedding which was such a treat! She customized the menu to incorporate Asian flavors and to accommodate my guests who were gluten and dairy free. On the day of the wedding, her staff and bartenders executed excellently. They were extremely professional, efficient and kind. My guests complimented on the delicious passed hor dourves during cocktail hour. We heard great feedback from our guests about the bartenders hired through Carol. Her staff made sure we had a plate with all the dinner dishes at the beginning of dinner. The transition from the buffet dinner to dessert went smoothly. And the best surprise of all was the cleanup at the end of the night. Carol's team collected all guests' dishes, cleared the plates, and put all the dishes in the rental crates where they came from. Coming home the next morning, I was expecting to walk into a complete mess, but her team also left my kitchen cleaner than it was before they came. As tired newlyweds, the clean up was honestly priceless. To top it all off, Carol donates a percentage of her proceeds to local charities. After our wedding we were able to select a local charity from the list of charities Carol partners with. What a wonderful way to give back to the community!
