She came to take our order after one of my buddies approached her. She was bothered and it showed. We had to ask for napkins and silverware. Food wasn't terrible and it was an affordable quick meal within the timeframe we had . My lunch buddies have burgers and fries I went for the spicy and sweet fried chicken wrap. It's conveniently walking distance from the courthouse so I might stop by again and hopefully service improves.

While I have not come in for the food, this is one of the few times where I am not going to worry about that. Nah, the reason I come to a place like this most of the time is when I need a few drinks to let myself loose. It also helps that I live very close to this place for the time being, so I might come back here a few more times based on that alone. This place is taken care of pretty well too. This is good because sometimes this place this place can get some pretty hectic crowding, but other times it will be a quiet night. It's a simple tavern, not much to it, but sometimes simple is what we need. Oh, and the service from the bartenders? Superb! Both times I came in I met Emily and both times she was great. Last night I met Jay. Gotta say, they work together quite well. They set the bar for any bartender who works here.

The food has been excellent each time. Prime rib was cooked perfectly, but even stopping in for a quick burger or wings hasn't disappointed. Hadn't been there in a while, but swung back in recently after hearing there was a new owner and its been my go-to ever since. Definitely worth stopping in if you're nearby!

My husband has been wanting to come and try their updated menu. I couldn't be more impressed. I started with their specials drink "Peach on the beach" Malibu coconut rum mixed with peach nectar and tropical mango juice and a rim filled with Tajín. Oh my super yummy. My husband started with a braised Rip Tácito appetizer. I expected him to have 2 maybe 3 and was pleasantly surprised with the 5 that came out. They were amazing! Perfectly marinated meat with caramelized onions and cheese. It was perfectly wrapped in a flour wrap and perfectly grilled. It came with a delicious dip and garnished with tomatoes and jalapeños. I can't rave enough about these! For his main course, he had the mild boneless buffalo tenders. My husband said they cooked them perfectly for him. Just the right amount of sauce and chicken tenderness. I had the Rasta Pasta. Grilled teriyaki chicken with pasta in a yummy cream sauce. My starter was a Caesar salad that was mixed nicely for me. (I don't like when they serve the dressing on the side) We were stuffed and had to take our main meals to go after a couple of bites. Stop and try their food, I don't believe it will disappoint.

Zack was our bartender/server and I have to say he makes the best margarita I've had in a long time! He mentioned they use good quality lime juice and it makes all the difference. Breweries usually aren't known for their mixed drinks so I was pleasantly surprised as I'm not much of a beer drinker. For food we enjoyed the brewin' onion, made in-house, fresh not too salty and well seasoned. We also had lemon pepper wings and buffalo wings. My only critique is the lemon pepper is very very salty. Buffalo was delicious, very good sauce. Wings are great quality, fresh and meaty. Great prices, what a happy hour should be! Excellent service from Zach and the other staff, they were on top of everything. They have tables and plenty of bar seating, they also have a very nice patio. There's indoor and outdoor games and a pool table too!

The drink menu was awesome. Creative combos but also very good. They also have a full bar of the ones listed don't hit the spot for you. It's an intimate settling with limited tables. You are definitely encouraged to sit back and enjoy the food and company as you listen to the piano player. It was a great dining experience for sure. A new spot in the Watertown night scene, several friends suggested it would be the kind of place I…read morewould enjoy, considering my jazz background. I found myself with a hole in my social calendar one Thursday night the second week they were open, and decided to see what the buzz was all about. Their website and facebook page suggested to "dress to impress", so I dug out one of my bespoke Italian suits and found the perfect silk tie to match (lots of orange, because it was nearly Halloween) and hopped in the car to arrive early enough for the first show (they have two shows per night, 7pm and 9pm, both roughly 90 minutes). Picturing a bar-full of women in swanky gowns and men attired similarly to me, I was disappointed in finding out that substituting heels for sneakers with jeans was the norm for women, and throwing on a blazer over jeans was the standard for men. This is more a reflection of the area, than the business, and there were some couples who took this suggestion seriously, with some people dressed to the nines. The inside is gorgeous, with the lounge area filled with comfortable-looking seating areas, and a couple of tables for diners (not a lot of those, however). Paintings of legendary singers lined the walls. The bar area is sparsely decorated, and a bit too starkly lit for my taste, picturing the smoky jazz joints of my misspent youth. Lots of stools, and a beautiful stone bar top completed the look. I found a seat at the bar, and ordered a martini. No Stolichnaya available (except for raspberry) so I settled for Grey Goose instead. It was perfectly mixed, and I awaited for the piano show to begin. As they were new and starting to fill their entertainment ranks, that night they had a pianist who was auditioning. He was acceptable, with a decent voice, but lacked a lot of the spark of other performers I've seen. I have to go back another night to hear some of their other performers they have lined up. There's a menu of small plates that will fit nicely with cocktails, which is the main attraction there, with a list of seasonal offerings. Since I had already eaten, I didn't order any food, but what I saw presented to others looked good. Something for my next trip. All in all, this is someplace I will probably frequent, since it's close by, and in time, I'm sure the concept will catch on and become very popular. I'd suggest giving 88Keys a try for a special date night, or someplace to go if you're looking for a different vibe than the other entertainment venues in the area.
