$12 order: Bacon breakfast platter with a side of grits with extra butter and a large sweet tea. Portions are good. Biscuit fluffy and buttery. Bacon tastes great but not crispy. Tots store bought and greasy but tastes good. Grits. Flavorless. Completely zero seasoning even after adding the prepackaged butter and using the little salt and pepper packs just bland. Eggs the same. ZERO SEASONING. They also fall apart. Rubbery and can't be picked up with a fork. Gravy. Tastes like packaged with sausage added. Zero seasoning other than the sausage. Friendly and fast service but probably wouldn't try again due to the lack of seasoning. read more

Just seen that they started staying open for dinner time as well so I figured I'd try it out. Food and service were both incredible and the price is very reasonable. After having their burger, I'd feel pretty foolish going to a fast food chain nearby when I need something quick. Locally owned is a plus as well. I have been a customer for 20 years with little or no problems with the food or service. In the last 6 months the wait time to order is absolutely awful and the food has gone from great to nothing to brag about. I have waited in line for over thirty (30) minutes at times and it appears the business has done nothing to resolve this problem. The food now tastes like a salt mine and it gets worse each time. I have lived here for 20 years and finally decided to go here since everyone hyped it up all the time. Stopped to get a biscuit on the way to go fishing and was sorely disappointed. Ordered a chicken, egg and cheese biscuit and wished I hadn't First the chicken. It was obviously a frozen prettied patty which I am all right with for a cheap biscuit but it left a godawful aftertaste and was generally very nasty tasting. The egg was fresh however so kudos for that. Now the biscuit, which is supposed to be their thing. It hit both of my pet peeves when it comes to biscuits. It was greasy. It was already soaking into the wax paper when I pulled it out of the bag. And it immediately started to fall apart from handling and upon first bite. At least it was only $5 Overall not good and I'll be returning to my oatmeal for breakfast. Supposedly their lunch is good so maybe I'll try that next. read more

I figured it's time for an updated review regarding this locally ran gem, nestled just north of Huntsville in Meridianville. This is drive thru only, I think they have a picnic table outside, but really this is pick up take home, take somewhere and devour deliciousness. This place has been in business for just over 19 years, and I have been coming here since the opened. Locally ran and operated, they serve local fresh ingredients and buy the best for their customers. They hand make their delicious buttery biscuits every single morning. The biscuits start rolling out at 430 am and let me tell you. Your grandmomma might become a little jealous of their buttermilk biscuits. Now they are known for breakfast, whether it's a steak biscuit (think country fried steak), chicken filet, bacon egg and cheese, butter, gravy and biscuits, BLT, sausage egg and cheese on toast, or one of their massive platters, everything on the menu is delicious. However, their lunch is awesome amazing and some of the best in the area. The French dip, or Bacon Cheeseburger is perfection,but if you are a party melt lover like I am, get it. I promise you won't regret it. Hands down the best customer service and local complete dives. Every time I have a chance to eat breakfast or lunch I go. Was running late for work this morning, decided to give Biscuit Express a try. I liked the drive-thru aspect, was out in record time, quicker than McD's. But honestly, can't really say the sausage biscuit was much better than one I could get at McDonald's. It wasn't greasy like Ronald's, but it was all biscuit, and a bit dry, hard to swallow.
