Food is delicious! It is fresh and well made. Their cupcakes are a delight. Tried delivery from here a few times. Order arrived promptly.

Hamley Bake Shoppe is more than just delicious goodies. It's a locally owned and ran bakery that offer so many delectable treats. They have huge cinnamon rolls, delicious macaroons, wonderful cookies, homemade oatmeal cream pies, and a full coffee bar. The coffee bar is amazing because they have so many different syrups to flavor your coffees. I LOVE that! I was able to get a sugar free white chocolate and pep pint americano and it was so delicious. What I love about Hamley is they are so involved in the community. They have a Harry Potter Day in October time frame and they have all the favorites from Harry Potter, butterbeer, chocolate frogs, Mandrake cupcakes. It is an awesome themed day! They offer order ahead from Thanksgiving and Christmas and take home decorating sugar cookies. This quaint place is decorated beautifully and the staff is so sweet. I will continue to visit this local gem!

Hamley use to be my go-to bakery in Huntsville for different occasions for cakes, cupcakes, chocolate covered pretzels and Oreos. I had good experiences with her until recently. I had her make 1 6" cake, 40 cupcakes, 25 chocolate covered pretzels and 25 chocolate covered Oreos all for my second daughter's 1st birthday. I ask for lemonade flavored cupcakes and a lemon cake with strawberry icing for the 6" cake. Myself and my guest were truly disappointed . Everything tasted bad! The cupcakes were very dry and the 6 inch cake was under baked. I told the owner and she said it was a soak on the cake. However, I know what a cake soak is and that wasn't it. Furthermore, the cupcakes, cake and the icing on both had no flavor. The icing tasted greasy and like Crisco. These cupcakes certainly didn't taste like lemonade flavor. I truly was disappointed with this order. I did reach out to the owner and let her know. She made excuses and said they tasted everything and things weren't dry. I'm not sure when she tried the cakes because everything was dry. The 6" cake was overly moist and over half of it was icing with thin layers of cake (see pictures). You definitely had to eat the cupcakes with ice cream to give it moisture. She also was to caught up by the fact I told her I was a food blogger and had other business owners there and people that trusted my judgement on food places, that she missed the entire feedback message. She thought I was threatening her to blast her on my blog page and Instagram panel. However, I never said that. I simply mentioned she didn't meet expectations and that other people that host parties and take my food advice and follow my lead for whom I hire were there. Owell! Her loss not mine. Her customer service is very poor. Don't waste your time telling her what's wrong. She'll just make excuses and she never offered a discount or to fix the situation. Overall, I was truly disappointed by the products she gave out for the price I paid. I won't use her again!

This was their set up for 30 people at formal tea party!

We rented event space under their 30 people for $150. When we arrive only 12 chairs outside and 8 inside. The flowers and beautiful lighting were dead (see pictures attached) said " storms a few weeks ago damaged things" We had to go two hours before event and buy 6 card tables and decorations... theyN they wanted to charge us an additional $184 because we had come 30 minutes early to set up the tables! Did not receive any serving table or table clothes as promised. Sadly the mgr "Ashleigh" said we saw what they had the place looking like and could have cancelled. They don't have the money to fix it up and suggested I "borrow" the flowers from closed business next door! Regardless of anything else-- they said 3O people on contract not me!

Amazing experience! The staff was so polite. I loved the environment. The strawberry Bellini was so yummy. The blt had the crispiest bacon & good quality lettuce & tomatoes.

Crazy good. Not sure that many bakers are any better. Call ahead at least 3 weeks for cakes. They do have ready made items but not many.

Delicious baked goods and GOOD coffee and espresso. Quaint and fun atmosphere but very tiny indoors. Outside seating is available.

Yall please don't come for me but...I'm not sure I get it?…read more This French pastry shop opened up a few years ago after the owner served goods for several years from his house. I've followed loosely since the early days and have always been impressed by the beauty and diversity of the products, and I am pleased that this business has found a permanent brick and mortar home. It's clear that it's very, very popular, as they still sell out of product many days of the week even several years in. This business is veteran-owned as well. However, I've now tried this place 3 times and I just have not been a huge fan of the pastries themselves on any visit. I've held off on writing a review for years because I thought it was something wrong with me or I just got unlucky, but I suppose I have to face the music eventually, lol. Pros: the inside is beautiful! There's not a ton of seating but it's neat as a pin and nicely designed. There's more seating on the patio. Unlike some of the other less positive reviews, 2/3 visits I had lovely interactions with the employees! This most recent visit in particular, the young man working was very friendly and upbeat. My very first visit I remember the staff being a little standoffish, but that was way back when the business first opened and I'm sure opening jitters were still going on. This time, I came with a friend from out of town to catch up before he needed to head back home. We arrived about 2 hours before closing; they were down to 2-3 items each for about 2-3 different types of pastry. My friend just got a coffee; I ordered an almond croissant to eat while we sat, and a chocolate torsades (chocolate puff pastry twist) for later. Of note, the coffee menu is very basic and purist here -- you won't be finding seasonal specials or syrups, just cappuccinos, espresso shots, etc. A little disappointing for me personally but nothing wrong with it inherently. I've had their almond croissant before and didn't love it; I just ordered it again because it was available and generally a favorite of mine. They seem to make theirs by slicing a croissant open and then filling it with almond...something. It's very thin, almost like a glaze. I prefer my almond croissants to have the frangipane baked inside, and also for it to be thicker and more custardy. Idk which way is the "right" way, but this is just my preference. The flakiness factor was good, though parts of the pastry were a little dry. The chocolate torsades I split with my husband for dessert later. It was also just okay. Lacking chocolate for my preference; also, a lot of the chocolate that it did have was still in the form of very tiny chocolate chips that hadn't melted into the pastry and created a sort of hard/almost pebble-y texture when bitten into. Again, I may be speaking in ignorance as perhaps this is how it is supposed to be served; however, this was my genuine feeling about it. All the pastries I've had have been executed adequately, but I just haven't been quite as wowed as many others. This could certainly just be a tastes/preferences thing and I definitely encourage you to give this business a try and form your own opinions about it when you can.
