Ordered a chicken caesar wrap to go, however didn't get to open the box of food until after leaving, and there is no chicken in here. Just soggy lettuce and a ton of tomatoes thrown together in a "wrap" that fell apart immediately... Disappointed to say the least, especially for it being $13 and having to wait for 15 minutes!!!

I ordered a cake from Edgar's in Madison for my daughter's Birthday. I wanted something that looked classic. I checked all of the cake options online at their website. I selected the "Sophia" cake and then called to place my order. The Edgar's staff was very friendly and helpful. I wanted lemon buttercream between the layers and a Happy Birthday inscription on top of the cake. The cake was ready on the day and time promised and it turned out beautiful! Everyone raved about how delicious the cake tasted. The cake and icing were both very light and not heavy at all. The lemon buttercream between the layers was perfect. I highly recommend Edgar's and very highly recommend the "Sophia" cake.

Good food and great service. Nice bakery deli atmosphere. This store in town Madison is my favorite of the 3 in hsv area. Really good bakery items as well!

I regularly visit Edgar's for their pastries and baked goods. I usually go to the Huntsville Edgar's on Airport Rd, but seeing this one opened and it's closer to my home, I decided to try this one out. I was disappointed by the baked goods selection. They were too busy making cinnamon and orange rolls and didn't have many sweet pastry options. I got the orange roll instead. It isn't as good as my usual Edgar's. Despite it being fresh made, the roll was very dry and had very little filling. The service here is mediocre and nothing to write home about. The environment is new and clean, but is cold and doesn't hold as much seats as other Edgar's I've been to. Overall, despite its close proximity, I think I'll stick to my usual Edgar's which has better food and a nicer atmosphere.

New bakery cafe in Town Madison! Now open. Stop in and check them out. It appears they have a meeting room. That would seem great for a birthday party.

I got the eggcado sandwich. I loved it. simple. the sriracha was a nice touch. The cheddar bread was delicious and packed in between the breads was the creamy avocado.

    The worst experience with cake.

I bought a graduation cake and it looked good at the store and when I arrived at home it was broke. After I spent a lot of money for it I couldn't used it

Food, service, and atmosphere are all quite lovely. I'd go back more, but not a particularly convenient location for me.

This small bakery is tucked away next to Big Bad Breakfast off Highway 72. It's named such because the owner's child has a congenital heart defect and she wants to bring awareness to the condition through baking. Sweet and commendable goal. It's definitely a come-and-go type of place; there's not much seating inside, but it is very cute and clean! There's a large shelf of fresh breads and then a display table and display cooler of amazing baked goods. The owner identifies as Hispanic and Italian and it's reflective in her baked goods. There are some truly creative and unique goodies to be found here -- beautiful to look at, executed impeccably, and delicious to taste. A young woman -- heck, maybe a teenager -- greeted me when I walked in. She was soft-spoken but very polite and helpful. They had sold out of a few things but still had reasonably ample displays when I arrived after lunch. A small plate with one of their breads and olive oil for dipping sat for sampling next to the register. I selected a sweetened condensed milk mini pie, a dulce de leche turnover, and the viral chocolate chip cookie croissant. ALL were delicious. My least favorite was the dulce de leche turnover, simply because I'd have liked a *teeny* bit more filling in it. The pastry itself was golden and flaky and the Dulce de leche was smooth and super sweet. Still like a 8/10 but the other two items I got... I'd not had a chance to nab a chocolate chip cookie croissant yet. I know The Moon offers them as well but I think that's the only other spot around town that does. This first try already has my heart, though; I don't need to try elsewhere. Somehow the croissant was flaky and buttery while the cookie baked on top of it was perfectly chewy. There was more cookie goo inside that was still, well, gooey. The texture was amazing and somehow it wasn't overly sweet and the chips weren't overly chunky (which is usually a problem for me in CC cookies). Also, the croissant was ENORMOUS. My husband was glad I was willing to share. ;) The sweetened condensed milk mini pie was unlike any treat I've had before and I loved it. Sweet, creamy, chewy, sticky...the meringue on top was an amazing marshmallow-y texture and the crust on the bottom was a crumbly delight. I loved this! They also have coffee drinks available but I didn't buy any this time. I cannot WAIT to return and try more delicious treats. Even though it's out of the way for me, this bakery is worth a special trip.

It took me way too long to…read morerealized the "Cutes" stands for charcuterie, but they sell that and cupcakes as well as a few other confections. It's a little shop with a small but diverse inventory of confections. There's no room to sit and eat inside but it's a quick walk over to the food garden if you want to have your treat there. Honestly, going inside didn't make the charcuterie part of the business any more evident - it looks like mostly desserts - but I was there for dessert anyway so nbd. Service was a little cool at first but warmed up as I asked questions and for recommendations. I wound up getting two cupcakes to go (a chocolate peanut butter one and a cookies and cream one at the employee's recommendation) and a strawberry pretzel salad for right then. I'll be honest, this place gave me sticker shock pretty badly. These are very average sized cupcakes (with beautiful frosting work...but the fact remains these aren't the behemoths you'd get during the viral mega cupcake craze a few years ago) and the strawberry pretzel salad cup was also comfortably for one serving only. It was about $14, almost 16 with tip. Whew! The products were alright but nothing really stood out. The strawberry pretzel salad was probably the best thing, but it was all in very discrete layers, which is not my preference. The pretzels were completely separate from everything else and it was hard getting a bite of all the elements put together. That said, the flavors were good, though the strawberry part could've been a bit sweeter. The cupcakes were fine. I thought there was a smidge too much frosting on them for the size of the cakes but it wasn't egregious like it is at Bite Me Cupcakery at Bridge Street. The chocolate peanut butter cupcake didn't have much peanut butter flavor (only the bites with PB drizzle); personally, I was hoping for some peanut butter flavor in the cake itself. The cookies and cream was bland but not overly sweet, which was a plus. Overall, for my experience there, this place offered pretty but expensive desserts that satisfied if not necessarily blew my socks off. It might be a good spot for a quick sweet tooth fix if you're enjoying time at Stovehouse.

I have not had a strawberry cake or cupcake in all my travels that can rival Edgar's strawberry cake. I challenge you to. The employees were nice and exhibited the Southern charm you'd expect. The dining tables are lined up against the windows and extend into the middle of the space. The rest of the interior space is occupied by various tables and stands of baked goods and treats. This visit was my first time ever having food. I ordered the bacon omelet with grits and toast. It was fine, nothing spectacular. It was good enough for me to eat there again but nothing that I'd say you have to go out and get. If you haven't tried the strawberry cake or strawberry cupcake, you HAVE TO- MUST- stop in and try one or both of them.
