After you are done, you put your rackets on the wall and que yourself back in again. People are very friendly at this gym and there is air conditioning so that is nice when is it hot. I have sat…read morethru these camps and can share that some of the high profile camps, spend way more time moving the kids from station to station, breaks, scrimmages, standing in line, and autograph sessions, then they do on skill development. On the other hand, ABC is the exact opposite and is by far the best camp for basketball fundamentals! This camp made our kids work the hardest they have ever worked at something (5 days 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. of focused, concentrated basketball fundamentals). ABC also stresses good sportsmanship, character, hard work, work ethic, intensity, fun and fundamentals in a comfortable and supportive environment. As a result of this tremendous experience we will be doing a second camp with ABC this summer. For basketball players who want to really work at improving their skills, there is no better camp! Thank you ABC for putting such a great program together.

They take this ultimate childhood playground game taken to a whole new level (granted that happens when you gather a bunch of adults to a field and give them a red ball and a beer permit). I play in the AZ Fire League in Tempe. It's a good mix of competitive attitude (the league winner gets to go to Vegas!) and a whole heck of a lot of fun. However, they are pricier than other kickball organizations I have played in around Phoenix for less games each season and their end-of-season parties that don't cover as much food, beer, etc. (which those pricey dues should be covering). This is probably because WAKA is a national organization that actually employs people, and we are basically paying for their salaries by playing kickball. Their motto "Best Parties. Best Games. Best Friends." basically sums it up, but they could give you a little more bang for your buck.
