Kaileigh has built the most amazing community and we all truly care about each other so much, and also manage to completely avoid the cult vibe that other gyms can bring. Kaileigh comes up with a few challenges throughout the year and is always committed to making each one better than the last. Our NY challenge is a team challenge and it's been life changing - honestly one of the smartest thing she could have done!! Also, just for fun, she's completely updated the studio since my last pics. It's a sleek black and gold vibe.. I love it!

Locals pay a bit leas and memberships can be by the month, every 3 months, or yearly for prices no other gym can compete with. Equipment ranges from multiple variations of cardiovascular machines, plenty of free weights and dumbells and the benches to utilize them with, weight machines targeting pretty much and muscle you can train. It is a boxing gym so there's speed bags, heavy bags, jump ropes, even an actual boxing ring. Staff are great and keep the place clean. Locker room available with showers, but bring your own lock. We started training with Damon for golf fitness, but quickly realized what we were doing would help anyone who cares about their fitness. Damon is so good at the golf swing and has shown us ways to improve stability, mobility and strength. His knowledge goes way past the golf swing and he has helped me with my comeback from a total hip replacement as well as ways to alleviate pain in my lower back. We all want more length when we hit the ball and with one drill showing me how to make a better hip turn, I gained one club length in distance and I improved my accuracy. Having turned 60, it's easy to lose flexibility leading to a loss in distance. However, in my case I have gained distance and I expect to gain more. I can't wait to get to this incredible gym and the hour goes by too fast. The aura and feel here is something special and everyone is so nice. It really feels like a family atmosphere and I have met other clients with different reasons why they work out at Method Athlete. If you are looking for a fantastic experience and want to invest in your future, give Method Athlete a try. It's only your life we are talking about and I can tell you my life has been enriched.

It's a decent-sized facility that just "gets the job done". Plus, it's in my new office building and now I really can't think of any new excuses for not getting exercise. It even has a full locker room with showers, etc. Plus they supply towels (both smaller ones for during workout AND large bath ones for your shower). No excuse. None. I haven't done the personal training yet, but a cpl of my coworkers have and really like the training sessions. One had trouble walking a few days bc she was so sore. This tells me the trainer was truly doing his job! Now I just have to remember to break up with Mountainside Fitness... *sigh*

While the gym is accessible 24/7, there is nobody supervising on weekends or after work hours. There are very few lockers in changing rooms and no rules are posted or enforced on the use of lockers so most patrons do as they please and simply claim their own spaces. The showers are disgusting with loose showerheads and rusted over product holders. For a gym that charges $25/m to roughly 200 members, literally none of this is reinvested back into improving the conditions. None of this matters. Daniel knows that this is the only gym in the building so he has a take it or leave it attitude. When I brought up these issues with him he rescinded my membership for having the audacity to ask for better accommodations. The owner is a child and the gym is crappy but hey, it's your only option if your job is in this building.
