So glad I found JPK Golf Instruction. I am self-taught,…read more have about a 25 handicap, and for the last 20 years I usually only play a few rounds a year - this year I wanted to change that. I figured I should get fitted for clubs and then try a golf lesson. I found JPK golf instruction here on yelp, read the great reviews and decided to book a half hour lesson. I am so thankful I decided to do this. John was friendly, took the time to ask me about my goals, about my game, any injuries, my best club vs. worst club and even spent the time to review the data from a Ping club fitting session that I had just gone through earlier in the day. He then had me do some warm-up swings and took some video which we reviewed together as he pointed out what I was doing well and what needed fixing. He gave me three things to change/work on and before the half hour was done I was hitting the ball better than I ever have. I could not believe it. It felt so good to actually hit the ball down the middle of the fairway! hah hah! After I left I was hoping that what he thad taught me would stick - and apparently it has. I just got back from the range this morning and I have never had so much fun hitting balls. Just this one lesson has changed the whole game for me. I'm looking forward to doing more. Thank you John Kostis!

Ultimately I was able to receive a full refund thanks to an excellent PXG customer service…read morerepresentative! I want to say thanks to Lake for his help and support! I had an opportunity to be fitted for a set of PXG golf clubs 4-W and a Driver. Since I was traveling at the time the clubs would be delivered. I asked if they could be delivered to my local PXG store for my pick up. I followed the tracking and when they arrived at the local PXG store, I went to pick them up. When I arrived at the store much to my dismay I learned that not only had the staff there Carlo and Belinda had not only torn my box open, but also opened up the interior black box and taken my clubs out. The fact that I was unable to unbox my own PXG Clubs really took away from my experience . Further, the clubs looked dirty like they had been handled. I didn't want them at this point so I contacted the sales person . He informed me that that was the protocol they were supposed to open up, not only the cardboard box they were shipped in, but also they were supposed to open up my black PXG box and they were supposed to take out my clubs and make sure that everything was OK with them. I thought that they had been checked before shipment and that I would have the opportunity to unbox my clubs and check them. So at this point, I asked him if he would initiate a return which he said he would. He further said that he would let the clubs I returned become part of that store's inventory and he would process my return. He did not explain the process. So that was on May 6 2025. So a week later, I called to check on my return the process and no one knew anything. So I called again on 16 May and a Mr. gutierrez of Customer Service told me there was no record of a return and that the reason the return was probably not processed was because they were waiting to receive the clubs and he asked me when did I return them? I Called to speak to Jim Holmgren who sold me the clubs. They told me he was unavailable and that he would give me a call back at this point. I have not heard back from him. I understand marketing and sales, but at this point, I think that not only should the customer service be better but also the products. I plan to return to this review later, but I would like to say that I value Customer Service and I feel that it's important that customers be treated well. This was definitely not a good experience and I would definitely recommend that you be careful when dealing with PXG golf.

As for the course, the rough is ROUGH. Hard to get out of. The grass is just different from any rough we've played. The grass feels deeply rooted and thick making it hard to get the ball out. It's best to stay in fairway as much as possible. The greens were in good condition. It's best to hit moderately even though looking at the grass being short assuming it would be fast. The sand is beautiful groomed and in perfect condition. I was told that the sand is similar to the sand in Augusta- beautifully crushed white quartz. It was tempting to lay on the ground to make sand angels, lol! Enjoy the infamous hole 16! Harder than it looks. We had Remington as our caddie between 4 players, and he was great and helpful. Tipping for caddie was at least $50 or more per player. We ate at the Toro restaurant for breakfast we were very pleased at their above and beyond service. Overall, great experience!

It's a bit intimidating to be a senior lady who is starting out but Joel made me very comfortable and he really seemed to have the ability to assess my swing and then give me simple recommendations to correct issues. He was very clear, patient and very professional. I am looking forward to signing up for additional lessons in the future. I liked that they take the students out to a more private area where you can feel less intimidated. I would highly recommend. My son and I attended their four day school and it was beyond any of our expectations. I have played golf for the past 15+ years and my son played a bit when he was younger, but he has not picked up a club for at least ten years. They have a max 4:1 student:instructor ratio, which gives the pros plenty of time to give each student the attention they need. My son just wanted to be able to play with friends and clients and not shank it off the tee. In four days, he only had one errant tee shot and, by the end of class, he was hitting 220+ off the tee, and straight! Both of our short games improved dramatically over the four day school. My goals were to get another 10-15 yards off the tee and to improve my short game, both of which I accomplished, and more. The pace is perfect, with four hours of instruction each morning and then a tee time to play every afternoon. The instructors took a sincere interest in each one of us in our group and the entire experience was well beyond both of our expectations. Also, when I went to sign up, I had a lot of questions and spoke with Scott on the phone. He spent a lot of time with me and left nothing unanswered. If you are looking for a fun and productive golf school, this is the one for you. Also, if you are going with friends or family members who are at different levels, from never hitting to single digit, you will all benefit and have a great time!!
