Then the Rep told me there was a $20.00 for some other fee, which brought the total from $9.99 a month to $16.57 a month. It's then when I walked. It wasn't the amount monthly but the principle that they think it's ok to deceive people in order to get their business. Their sales technique may work on most people, so I'm guessing they will continue in their ways. I'll pay more at another gym that is up front with their costs rather than do business with liars. It's no wonder their reviews are as low as they are.

Several of my favorite instructors are no longer there, and when asked, I've been told "I don't know", which is concerning in itself. Management should absolutely know what's happening with the instructors they hire, and they do, they just lie to your face to keep the peace. Later, finding out it's due to "low participation," which is hard to believe when I've personally seen classes with far fewer members remain on the schedule much longer and even management-led classes with only 2-3 people continue without issue. The inconsistency is obvious. After more than a decade of loyalty, it's frustrating to watch what was once a strong, community-driven program be undermined by poor leadership and questionable decisions.
