When my previous kickboxing studio closed, I was honestly nervous about finding another place that felt like home. Then I found Jabz North in Phoenix. I've been kickboxing for over ten years, beginning with a master martial artist, so I appreciate great instruction and a well-run studio. Samantha, the owner, is outstanding. She's attentive, encouraging, and truly cares about the members. The equipment is excellent, the workouts are always changing, and I've been challenged in ways I haven't experienced in years. At 68, I appreciate finding a place that keeps me strong, challenged, and excited to come back. If you're wondering whether it's too late to begin--or to begin again--it isn't. You can start at any age. If you're looking for a welcoming community and an amazing workout, I highly recommend Jabz North! read more

Highly recommend to come to jars! Always great thank you to everyone for always being so great ;))

Beautiful location, the trainers I have met so far have been wonderful. I also love that this location is on ClassPass, grateful! I started going to this location after moving nearby and I'm glad it's so close. The workouts are always changing and perfectly challenging, recommend this to get fit and blow off some steam! read more

Love this place! I have been coming to Jabz for 1 year and I love it! It has changed my body and my mindset about working out. I love the classes and love how everything can be modified! This place is my happy place. All the instructors are incredible. I can't say enough good things about this place! read more

The best exercise place I've been to. Is actually quite fun too. You get such a great workout. The staff is so nice and welcoming and really helps you. Is your own pace which is really nice. Love it and I will never stop coming here. read more

I started looking into Jabz when I saw them on Groupon. I tried one location and liked the concept, the workout went by so much faster than I though which I liked...but it just wasn't feeling like a good fit there. Then I found the North Phoenix (Shae and 32nd) location and it was everything I wanted it to be!!! I am newly into working out, New Years resolution, and really was looking for something I could get hooked on. I wanted to find something I would stick with longer than a week and a place where I was challenged but which also wasn't intimidating to the point of feeling embarrassed and wanting to quit. The trainers at this location are perfect!!!! They are always ready to help you if you forgot the exercise at a location, will modify stations to make it easier or more challenging, and they are always kind and encouraging!!! They are my favorite part and I'm so glad I found this location!!! The other girls that go are also super helpful and positive...an even better bonus! read more

The one star off is because I can never get into the am classes - they're always full. I prefer working out in the morning and right now, I'm going in the afternoons. Which means that I don't go as often as I'd like due to my other obligations in the afternoon. With that said. Jabz rocks it and kick's my a$$ - pushing me in all the right ways! The trainers are knowledgable, great with modifications and making sure people are keeping good form. And I greatly appreciate their motivating attitude! It's important to note that it's not a boxing gym - it's a circuit training system where you get to punch a few bags. I bought the 15 session groupon and I'm on my 9th day. Even with enjoying this workout as much as I do, I don't know if I'll continue because of the morning conflict. However if a 5 or 6 am class isn't important to you - then I highly suggest you stop in and give this place a go!! The support is fantastic as is the workout! read more

Just had my first workout at Jabz with Sam and it was incredible. She was extremely patient showing me proper form and explaining every exercise. She also was very encouraging of everyone to do what made them feel comfortable by giving modifications to exercises. I cannot wait for my next class! read more

Awesome workouts with awesome trainers. I have improved my strength, balance, confidence and overall fitness level

Sam is the most welcoming and energetic instructor I have ever had !!!!! The atmosphere is awesome and the workouts make you SWEAT!!!! I love how everything was explained and you never feel like you're lost and confused. I highly recommend this studio for ladies who want to stay fit or who are just starting on their journey. The all Womans atmosphere is helpful and great.... everyone seemed inspired by each other. I can't wait to come workout here again!!!!! read more

I started Jabz before the holiday season with a groupon and became hooked! I signed up for a three month membership, and have not been disappointed so far. I love the set up, you don't feel overwhelmed and I personally feel comfortable which was a problem for me with other group fitness classes. The coaches are very encouraging and help you out when you're not doing a station correctly. Everyone is really nice. I leave there feeling accomplished and definitely out of breath! read more

The best place for a workout! The trainers are all amazing! The equipment is clean. Every workout is different. You leave feeling tired and confident and strong! I'm addicted! read more

I tried the free week 6 months ago and only went once and wasnt feeling it but i was also not feeling physically well. After hitting a plateau at the gym and being too lazy to drive to my Zumba Classes. I decided to give this place another try, I am so glad i did! Ive been going every day for the last 2 weeks and this place makes me sweat. The gym or zumba never made me sweat the way this place does. The trainers are great, friendly and push you to your limits. I am also glad that this place is a block from my house no excuses!! read more

I have been going for a few months now and am super excited to say I am down about 20lbs. All of the trainers are great and really care about you. Sam the owner is wonderful! They have great deals on facebook and Groupon for your first month! They class sizes max out at 16 so there is a lot of personal care and attention. Classes are an hour and based around stations so the hour goes super quick. If you have been looking for a place that's fun and hard all at the same time look no further. My favorite thing about it is the care and attention of the trainers though! I broke my leg a few years ago and have to modify some of the moves. The trainers are always showing alternative ways to do the exercises and they CARE! Julia, Katrina, Gina, Rachel no matter who's training I know It's gonna be a fun time and definitely worth it in the end! read more

I was a tiny bit overwhelmed going into Jabz but I'd purchased a Groupon because I was looking to shake up my boring treadmill routine and this place looked interesting. I'm so glad I didn't get in my own way! Pros: Super friendly and knowledgeable staff and trainers New facility Great energy/support from fellow Jabzers (I just made up that word) A truly kick-ass workout. While I was watching the demonstration I thought, "Eh.This looks easy." Um. Yeah. Not so much. You go at your own pace but if the trainers see you slacking, they'll challenge you. I LOVED that. Cons: The North Phoenix location only has bikes and jump ropes for warming up. I'd love a treadmill and/or rower option. Overall, I really enjoy this place and plan to continue until the "wave-goodbye" flab is gone! read more

Jabz is a fantastic high energy engaging workout. It is themed around boxing and keeps you engaged with different workout combos every day. There are between 14-16 stations for the full workout. You focus on each station for about a minute keying in on high intensity and high reps! The trainers are AMAZING! They get to know you personally, offer support and encouragement, and push you when you need more! The class environment is very friendly and welcoming. There are women there of all different types, shapes, sizes, and fitness levels! Jabz is a great option whether you are looking to just start becoming active or if you are looking to shake up your workouts and challenge your body! Bonus...they offer a free trial week and often run Groupon deals! I LOVE it!! read more

Where do I even start!! If I could give this place a hundred stars I would. I started with Jabz in early 2018 and I have not since been happier with my fitness and work out routines. The trainers here are extremely professional, knowledgeable, supportive, and very encouraging throughout my workouts. They push me beyond what I think is my limit when they know I can do more/better and yet they meet me where I am when I struggle. The atmosphere is very comfortable and I workout alongside other strong women with various fitness goals. The instructors will do a demo of each exercise before the beginning of every class so you never have to worry about what the heck you need to do like in a regular gym. They make sure that my form is proper and they will constructively correct me if I'm doing it wrong for my own benefit. They're very considerate of injuries and other pains and will show you a modification for each exercise that can be simplified. My first encounter was with Sam, who also owns the studio. I love her!! She's amazing, very accommodating, and welcoming. I have also worked out with trainers Michelle, Maddie, and Josette - they're such a great hype and working out with them Is always fun! The trainers are friendly and approachable and answer my questions about health and fitness. This place is worth every penny I pay in my membership. The good vibes I need to get my workout on are beyond exceptional. Everyday the workout focuses on a different muscle group and by the end of the week, I have worked out my entire body. I feel stronger and more confident. I love this place and I appreciate all the trainers I have worked with since I started with Jabz. I love being a part of the Jabz community and I am happy to have finally found my happy place! read more

I only come to Phoenix during the holidays to visit family, so it's hard to find a place to workout where I can buy a short-term pass and stay motivated while on vacation. Jabz is the perfect place for me! Sam is the best and has helped me get the class pass that works best for my intermittent schedule. I stay in shape, but the classes are still very challenging. Sam and the other trainers also give everyone modifications if you have injuries or are unable to do certain moves. I've brought my 65 year old mom, and she also loved it. I recommend it to all of my friends in Phoenix! read more

I started with a Groupon back in January and have been hooked ever since! I go to class at least 3-4 times a week. The instructors are all great and will help you achieve that next level that often is hard to do on your own. I've lost almost 15 lbs and have so much more energy! This is one Groupon I didn't regret buying! read more

I struggle with being consistent in working out, but this place makes it easy! Each workout is new and challenging which makes me want to go every day! This is such a well run and clean business! The trainers are so personable and push you so you get the best workout for you that day! I have gotten some seriously awesome results because of these wonderful work outs! And getting my frustrations out on the bags each day make it that much more fun! You gotta check it out! They offer a free week! No excuses! read more

I've done so many different workouts that have never really worked for me or I got bored with quickly! I bought a 10 day groupon and today bought my first full month! All the trainers are great! I like that they correct me if I'm not doing something right. Every class I've done it's been something different and I love the structure of it! read more

Great workout! I Great staff. They are very friendly and helpful. I love that it is close to my house and that the hours work with my schedule. read more

I just completed my 10th class from my Groupon purchase. I had passed by this location many times and kept saying, "I need to try it out". I am very hard on myself and the trainers have been so supportive and attentive to my back issues. I love Jenn and Sam, but all of the trainers are awesome! I have actually found myself missing going when I take a day off! Needless to say, I love the classes and the people and will be signing up for my unlimited membership! read more

LOVE this place! Did their free week, then a 10-class pack, and now just bought 3 months unlimited and find myself having gone from 1 or 2 classes over weeks to 4 classes a week and craving it if I don't go. The ladies in the 8AM are so nice; Sam, the owner is a sweetheart, and Nina, one of their many talented instructors, is so kind and encouraging. Don't be afraid of the pace and the many kinds of exercises-- just tell them you are new (they are actually naturally good at being inclusive) and they will help you all the way to feeling comfortable and on your way to being stronger, leaner, and healthier. Highly recommend! read more

Awesome workout!!! Worked my whole body & I left with such a great excercise high! I recommend this gym to all women!! read more

Tried a coupon membership for 30 days at this club. Loved the space. The trainers are great. Sam really works you hard. Interval training can be confusing at the beginning but there was always someone will to help. Keep trying. I went twice a week and used all my muscle groups. It was a good tired. Loved punching the mitts with the trainers because they changed up my punching rythm and challenged me. read more

Jabz is AMAZING!!! Sam and the other trainers are so fabulous and keep you motivated throughout the tough daily workout. They mix up the exercises so it's never the same, I get bored easily when working out and I definetly don't have this problem here. There are a lot of different options and modifications to the exercises that make it possible for anyone to do. I highly recommend Jabz to everyone! read more

Love this place! I have been Involved in fitness for literally my entire adult life. Heavily involved in bodybuilding in fact. And frankly, as time has gone by I somewhat have gotten bored with my workouts of weight training and cardio. On a whim about three years ago, I bought a Groupon for Jabz. Unlike Orange Theory or CrossFit, this work out can be modified extremely easily for any kind of musculoskeletal issues you may have. From years of working out, I have virtually destroyed my knees and yet I am still able to get a fantastic work out with these classes. Not only that but I really enjoy the fact that all levels of physical ability can do the classes. I have seen extremely fit women in my classes and I have seen women who are working on their fitness program. All kinds of women. Everyone is extremely supportive and it's just a great atmosphere. Long story short, I highly recommend this work out to anyone looking to change up their workouts. read more
