Matt is welcoming and knowledgeable in his field. He thoroughly stepped us through their processes. Nutrition is included which is a plus. This is our first time recording our daily food/drink. It's amazing how you become more aware and accountable! It'a only been a month and we already see results. Matt keeps us moving and 45 minutes flies by. He customized our workouts based on our individual needs/desires. We started 2 days per week but will increase to 3 days. We highly recommend Transform to help get you fit and live healthier. I went to visit the club today and the young girl at the front desk was extremely pleasant and sweet. She gave me a price sheet, which is attached to this review. She let me tour the club and while it's not very big, it was also not very busy. I had been a member years ago and a few things have changed. After speaking with my girlfriend, I agreed that we would pre-pay an entire year because of the specials and the prices in the attached flyer. When I went to sign up, unfortunately, I was told the price would be $330 higher plus there would be an annual fee and an enrollment fee. If I'd not been shown one price and then given another, I would have felt informed, but in this case I felt differently. I do not believe the nice young lady at the front desk meant any harm or did anything wrong. But apparently staff communication might be an issue. So if you choose this club, make sure you understand exactly which pricing plan you're on. $189 per couple per month plus the additional fees can add up quickly. Convenience is great, but there are other options.

However, instead of being notified that my rate could not be honored, my membership of 11 years was canceled without my knowledge. I was out of town for work trying to access an anytime fitness in another state, standing outside like an idiot because my key fob wouldn't work. I had to reach out myself to figure out why, and that's when I was told that my membership was canceled but 'my loyalty to ATF was appreciated'. I was pretty bummed to essentially be turned away from ATF after 11 years. And of course given that each location is individually owned, no owner has showed any sympathy for my situation. So bummed because I love ATF and have for 11 YEARS.

I've been training in Muay Thai/boxing for 10+ years, but am now a mom of 2 little ones and have physical limitations given multiple knee injuries/surgeries. It's been hard to find a legit boxing gym with good trainers that can tailor classes to my injuries and is also family friendly. I honesty found my dream gym and even though I only started a few weeks ago, I'm really excited that I found KG boxing and am now a member. I should also mention that they have 2 kids of their own that you'll often see at the gym. They offer kids classes which they're trying to build and also have a kids play area with toys and even a blow up bounce house. There's a sense of camaraderie that you feel as soon as you walk through the doors which I love and miss since I've mostly been doing personal training boxing sessions since moving to PHX 2 years ago. But don't let that fool you because you'll also see seasoned boxers training for fights and sparring. They offer a wide range of class times and open gym which is super convenient. They gym is clean and they have a nice boxing ring. I've worked with a lot of coaches over the years and I can say without hesitation that KG is one of the best. He's passionate about teaching, is very technical and does a great job on focusing on the fundamentals. He takes the time to learn and tailor his coaching to your skill level while still encouraging you to maintain or develop your own style which I appreciate coming from a Muay Thai background. So whether you're a seasoned boxer looking to spar/compete, a complete novice looking for a new workout routine, or a mom trying to get in shape I would highly recommend you check out KG boxing.

When I approached the table, the two women representing the company just stared at me with what felt like an attitude. I asked what Stretch Zone was about, as there wasn't much information displayed on the table. One of the women simply pointed to a video on a tablet and said, "There's a video, it pretty much explains it," while the other just pointed to a card with info. Their snarky and dismissive demeanor made me feel unwelcome. I was instantly irritated - if you're at an event to promote a business, you should be engaging and eager to explain it. Based on this experience, I have no interest in pursuing services from Stretch Zone.

Super friendly, welcoming and engaging are what comes to mind to describe Lauren's delightful personality. I not only feel energized, but feel great after my first assisted stretching session. I have a hard time stretching on my own, and like the accountability of StretchZone, the roomy, well lit and impeccably clean and comfortable stretching area.
