I was at Hershey Park and came across their amphitheater, which was having an Oceans of Fun show,…read moreso I decided to stop in. In the center of the amphitheater was a nice, large pool where a few sea lions were swimming around. First, he did a couple of tricks including jumping around in the water, playing with a ball and kissing his trainer. He even waved to the crowd a couple of times! It was just amazing to see how smart and talented these beautiful animals are! I also found the information we were provided with to be very interesting including how the trainers work on the sea lion's schedule and the threats they face in the wild. I suppose the sea lions go back to Milwaukee in the winter and during the months the park is not fully open, though I'm not sure. Altogether, seeing Oceans of Fun was truly amazing and I would highly recommend it!

Their policy states that if you miss the show, you lose your money. We offered to pay again for a different day since I empathize that this kind of program must be costly to run. We never once demanded a full refund. I find it EXTREEMLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE that they wouldn't even offer us a discount for readmission. We were then told to call a manager. THEY NEVER CALLED BACK. I HAD TO CALL THEM AGAIN. I was told to wait for discounts that may come up during Black Friday. (You explain that to a child that doesn't understand.) This is not a concert/event that leaves town. So needless to say, the money was stolen. Nice way to treat zoo members, don't you think so? The manager kept repeating the word "policy" and "all of my documentation of the situation". Honey, I've been in management retail for 14 years. I have a masters degree in public health (service)....don't stand behind that excuse. I never once swore or treated the employees rudely.

Wowza, this place is wild! My family and I recently came for our first visit to attend a birthday…read moreparty. My boys were in utter shock upon entering, and honestly so were we haha! It's massive inside, so much bigger than I had expected. Your eyes can't decide where to look- the dozen massive slides, climbing gym area, big swings, zip-line... there's plenty to do! All of the kids we were with, including mine, ranged from ages 2-6. To no surprise, they all had a blast. There's something for everyone, including a dedicated section for kids under 5. From a parent's perspective however, there were definitely a few things we didn't favor. To start, there seemed like a lack of staff, almost allowing for too much of a free-for-all. And the staff that were working, were completely unfriendly and looked like they didn't want to be there at alllllll. This is a kids place... even a smile or a little interaction with the kids would go a long way. The one gentleman -working the area where you swing off the bar onto the blow up section- truly looked mad to be there and it was sad to watch the kids ask him for help and receive bothered looks in return like it was a chore. The go-cart section was completely closed/broken down as well. You pay a good chunk of money to come here, so to have a whole area not available to play was a bummer. Having a bday party here can be the whole package though - our group got a big dedicated table on the party side, pizzas, veggies and fruit, and drinks. Unsure of the cost, as we weren't the hosts, but if you're looking for an all-in-one option this would work. All in all, an enjoyable place for kids but absolutely be prepared for chaos and to support your kids in being safe because there's opportunity for injury.

We hosted a 5th birthday party for 12 kids and it was a huge hit!…read more To begin with, we were familiar with MadScience because my son is an MPS, student and they have visited his school with projects and demos. We thought it would be a unique party idea. While the Mad Scientists will come to your house, we opted to have the party at their lab. We had a 10am party and the standard party lasts 1-1/2 hours. You can add more time if you want to, but we just opted for the basic. I was nervous that 1-1/2 hours wouldn't be enough time. Given that we chose a party time after breakfast and before lunch, we just did lots of snacks and cupcakes, and it was perfect. If you want to do pizza or extra play time, another 1/2 hour or so would be better. The set-up itself is great. They have picnic table style seating, and when you arrive, some of them have different types of activity boards to play with. There are a ton of stations of toys for the kids to play with and explore before and after the demo. Our group had a 2 year old who could find safe things to play with and even a 10 year old that enjoyed all the activities. They have all the plates, cups, napkins, cutlery, etc. and even have ice cream scoops and lighters for candles. It was great to see how many bases they had covered. I didn't feel the need to add table cloths to anything so really, what you need to bring is minimal. The general decor of the place is awesome. They even had name tags for your to write names on when you walk in. Dr. Molly was our Mad Scientist, and she was so entertaining, enthusiastic and funny! She (safely) used fire, electricity and more. She talked about several science concepts, but kept it basic enough that the young kids could follow what she was talking about. Most importantly though-she made it fun! Even the adults loved the experiments. We made slime and added on the cotton candy making. The kids loved all the activities, had a blast and got to take home a project and a treat. The birthday boy got his own lab coat and was excited to wear it during the demo. Dr. Molly went out of her way to include him where she could. I appreciated her effort to make it special for him. We also brought little safety glasses from Amazon (Search: Gateway Safety 3699 Colorful StarLite Gumballs Safety Glasses, Small) They were perfect for their size, and the kids could take them home. Otherwise, they had a big basket of science goggles that the kids can wear. I am definitely going to looking for more opportunities to visit! All in all: -It's not the cheapest party, but it definitely is unique. -Great communication before the party, and everyone I talked to was super nice and helpful. -They make the party easy for you. -Easy to find. -So much for the kids to do on-site--you don't need to entertain them. -Five is probably the youngest age I'd recommend. -Twelve kids + parents + some extra family was a comfortably full house. There was room for more-just not a ton more. If you have older kids, I'd say that parents could comfortably drop them off. -Check out the party add-ons. We liked the idea of the rocket launch but our party day was rainy so I'm glad we opted for the cotton candy.

Lots of tables and booths plus a kind of private reserved area for larger parties. No longer a ball pit, but a trampoline area is very popular with the kiddos. It does cost extra, but use is unlimited with the days wristband. There's an area with little rides and stuff for toddlers, and the rest of the games are suitable for 8 and up. The games operate with reloadable cards so no more tokens. And no tickets either, those are recorded on the card. At any point you can check the balances on the same machine that is used to reload the cards. I've been here twice this summer for parties and it wasn't bad. Obviously adults are not the target audience but there are plenty of more challenging and nostalgic games.

There seemed to be only one employee working there, trying to be at three different stations at the same time. The lack of adequate staffing made customers wait for long periods with no employees in sight, and without remorse. Nugget Nation MKE has one of the BEST curation of toys that CONSISTENTLY rotates. I like to emphasize the consistent because a lot of play spaces have kept the same toys month after month but not here! 3 Reasons You Should Visit Nugget Nation 1) It incorporates play for a variety of ages. I have an older son and an infant/toddler. Often times at most places I would get nervous that my older one would be too big and hurt the young ones or my little one would have nothing to do. This is the best for both worlds. 2) Play for every kid. I said this initially but there are a variety of toys that will peak your little one's interest or curiosity which is perfect for problem solving and imagination 3) The indoor play space is a perfect size - not too big where you will lose your kids inside and it's CLEAN. It you are a 90s kid and remember Chucky Cheese play gyms being the best thing - this is way better and will give you the mental ease that your children are safe. I read the previous review about attendees getting everyone sick and honestly that must be a fluke because I go at least once a month and found that other children are respectful especially when it comes to germs. Kayla and Jenna you are the best addition to our lives thank you for giving this mama a place to go when feeling cooped up.
