The airplane section and the hidden thrift shop were a fun surprise. I'm visiting from Austin, Texas, and will definitely make this a pit stop for our next visit to see the grandparents.

My kids and I spent 3 hours at Taxi and Tide last week Friday. I had to force them to leave. From serving coffee, to dress up, to riding on an airplane (yes they have old airplane seats!), there is something for every kiddo to be interested in. It is clean and the toys are amazing. There are 2 sensory rooms, one of which is for playing with cars and the other one is for playing house and it has a little tent in it. Theres another area to have a dance party and for each kids birthday party, they have a birthday candle game where the birthday kid has to throw (a ball) to blow the candles out, super fun! They also have an option for a balloon drop (always the kids favorite). You tell them what theme your kid wants and they decorate a party room with those decorations (part of the package). We paid for 2 games upfront and had no issues adding a third later on. There are about 16 lanes or so and the bowling area has a cute vintage feel to it. Equipment maybe a little older as there were a few times when the pins were set up that 1 would accidentally get knocked over before we actually bowled a ball, but we didn't mind the extra help :) I do wish their bowling ball selection was a bit more organized and expansive. I was looking for lighter options and could not find any -- not all the balls had the weights labeled clearly so unsure if they didn't have any/were already taken/I overlooked them. The lightest ones I found were 10 lbs. We stayed and played some of their arcade games too which ranged from pinball to skeeball to foosball and more! Some machines take bills and some only take change but there is an ATM and change machine on site. There were also plenty of people there just to enjoy food/drinks or play pool. We walked since we live close by so did not have to worry about parking but only street parking around like a lot of areas of downtown.

I had not been to a Chuck E Cheese since I was a kid and went ahead and got the summer pass for my…read morelittles. I have twin 2 1/2 year olds and the summer pass was the perfect way to go. It was a good idea to escape from the hot hot hot summer heat but still give them something to do to burn some energy. This facility even has the new-ish trampoline zone for bouncing which is really cool looking (additional charge,) my twins loved meeting Chuck E Cheese himself and the little dance opportunities they have with him is cute. The big giant screens playing kid friendly music videos is a nice touch. The pizza is honestly really good, way better than when I was a kid. Stuffed crust is ALWAYS a must for me because I need extra cheese. The staff has always been kind and friendly and quick to action, whenever we have been there. A few of the machines needed a little maintenance and were being worked on but it was a week day and right when they opened which was understandable they got to get maintained sometime/someway. My twins go around to all different games but I love the classics - skee ball, water shooter game, basketball, the Simpsons soccer kick and we really love and always use the Photo Booth when we visit. Definitely a fun spot that gives a little nostalgia with new flair if you go during optimal times when it's not super busy. I am sure it can feel a little overwhelming when there's a TON of kids, parents and birthday parties all happening at the same time.

This was my first time taking my kids there (5 and 20 months) and we went on a weekday from 5-6:30pm. You may be like me and wondering, is good ol Chuckie Cheese still as dark, loud and germ-filled as your ball pit memories of old? No - while the Chase location has an older exterior, I was amazed by how bright, clean and inviting the interior was. The staff were warm, welcoming and truly very helpful. We had pizza and I had the GF personal pizza and dare I say...it was AMAZING. Only wish they had Coke products instead of Pepsi but alas, this is a place that's about the kids. No more tokens and everything is electronic which you may be well familiar with, but again, me stuck in the last time I was in a Chuck E Cheese in 1994 had little idea what to expect. I found it helpful to set up an account ahead of time (and you get a bunch of free tickets). I did the unlimited games for one hour for my 5 year old but we could have done it by number of games instead. There was a staff member who was only walking around cleaning games and checking that they were operating properly. He was kind to my 20 month old who came running through when he was checking a machine and amid lots of kids running around. I just have to share how much I admired how diligently he worked to care for the cleanliness and safety and doing so with a positive attitude. That just seemed hard to find these days. This ideal professionalism from all the staff was seen in the way they cared about what they were doing and how things were operating. My son said it was "the best day" and cannot wait to go back. Thanks for the good time, clean and safe facility, fun games, and great pizza!

My first official experience with an escape room and I had a great time. I can't reveal my favorite…read moremoments as that would ruin the experience for others, but I will say that the host was amazing and the instructions were easy to follow. There were plenty of clues and figuring them out was a lot of fun, as they all were a little different in the approach to solving for an answer. There were four in our group and we all played an equal part in trying to solve the crime. We didn't solve our case but were really close to the right answer. And I'd say that, win or lose, this was a really good way to spend an hour! I'd definitely come back to try one of the other rooms. One thing to note, that I almost missed - the entrance and parking are located around the back of the main mall. Once you've driven around the building, the location is easy to spot.
