I have used The Betty Brigade twice and each time has been a fantastic experience. I can't imagine what it would have been like to have done any of the tasks myself. I used them first for an estate clean out. They were efficient and sensitive. I used them recently in my own house to downsize my stuff and organize in preparation for a future move. I needed to figure out what I really wanted to keep in a household move out of state. the job was quoted in phases and with each job completed I saw the caring and value in hiring the Bettys. Overwhelmed with what needed to be done, they came in with sensitivity and that organized eye to get things done. The house is so put together now I may not move! read more

Slow to provide estimates, and prohibitively expensive for organizing. More trouble than they are worth. Go with TaskRabbit instead.

Very impressed! Glassware was perfectly wrapped. people were friendly and efficient. read more

I highly recommend the Bette Brigade for your downsizing and moving project. Their team of three led by Franny did a terrific job of sorting, packing and labeling, in preparation for a move outstate. They obtained moving estimates for our selection, and then supervised the loading. They also arranged for the remaining items to be distributed to the organization of our choice and then for the remaining items to be disposed off appropriately. Finally they brought in cleaners to prepare the house to be put up for sale. I can't say enough about the enormous care they took in packing and the outside labeling of boxes to facilitate ease of unpacking. Everything arrived in excellent shape. I could not have accomplished all of this without this team of highly trained and motivated staff from the Bette Brigade. read more

We recently used Betty Brigade to get our house organized and cleaned out in anticipation of an Estate Sale, and then eventually to sell our childhood home. Our leader, Sara was terrific, and helped lead us through the process. They managed the entire undertaking, from cleaning to shipping items we wanted to keep to each of us (as my siblings and I are scattered throughout the country) to coordinating with the Estate Sale company, consignment shop and cleaning service. Sara and her team were hard-working, communicative, organized, and flexible. This is a great service, whether you are getting a house ready for sale or simply to reorganize the home. They provided great relief to my family and myself. I highly recommended them. read more

We were moving from a house in Ann Arbor to a much smaller apartment in California, so the downsizing and moving task seemed overwhelming. Betty Brigade helped us manage every step of the process other than finding a realtor (which they would have done). Most helpful of all, they took care of managing the estate sale and discarding and cleaning up what was left after we moved out and were on our way to the west coast. Once our movers were done we just left everything to Betty Brigade. Great job! read more

The Betty Brigade was amazing! My aunt and uncle were "savers" and it would have been virtually impossible for their few remaining family members to sort and organize the contents of their house for an estate sale without the services of the Betty Brigade. In addition, the Betties were very accessible, responsive, and cooperative. The manager provided thorough and prompt updates after each day's work making us feel very much a part of the process of dealing with the treasured belongings of our loved ones. read more

My parents, Dr. and Mrs. Irving and Georgette Haiman-Baert, would feel so gratified and pleased that they have enabled my employing The Betty Brigade to care for their home's contents after their passing. A thank you to my folks and to the firm is simply not enough, and I cannot put enough of a price on the latter's services. Thank you all! read more

I used the Betty Brigade to help me organize, then donate, sell or discard a large number of household items, clothes, and old paperwork. Meggan and Stacey were incredibly efficient, organized and fun to work with! My home now feels much more serene and spacious. This is the second time I've used the Betty Brigade. I highly recommend this organization. read more

Wow these guys are the best. We used them to organize and downsize before we moved and Linda, Kim, and Sara did an awesome job. When we did move we used them again to organize and unpack and the same crew did another awesome job! They are not inexpensive but for us it was worth every penny! We are older and they were able to do things that we were not able to do. I can not recommend them enough!!! read more

I can't express how wonderful this company is to work with. They took care of every aspect of cleaning out a very full condo and helping us get it prepped to put on the market. Very professional work staff and always on time. They made a very stressful situation significantly more tolerable for my brother and I. I would recommend them without reservation. read more

Betty's Brigade was a life-saver for me and my sisters when moving our elderly parents from independent living to assisted living, and during COVID-19! We had only a week because we live out of state and needed to return back home. It was an emotional time for us and they were incredibly kind, professional and hard-working; providing critical guidance and advice to us on how to make this transition as smooth as possible. Their great relationship with Glacier Hills Senior Living Community also made it that much easier. We were able to quickly schedule the consult and their quote was reasonable and very close to the final bill. Thank goodness they were available to help us with this sudden transition for my parents. read more

We moved from a big house to a small condo, and without the help of Betty Brigade, I could not have managed. They helped me decide what to get rid of, and then they took the discarded items to thrift shops, eBay, and the dump. They took care to recycle and find good homes for everything that could be useful to other people. Then, they packed many of our possessions in advance of the move and, after it, spent 2 days helping to unload and place things in our new abode. I cannot carry heavy items, so it was especially useful to have their help with that task. Linda did most of this work, and it was a pleasure to have her around. I recommend BB very highly. read more

Franny and team from Betty Brigade did a great job! Packed up my entire house, coordinated moving everything into storage pods, and calmly handled every little surprise along the way. This stage of the move went far better than I ever expected. read more

I needed Betty Brigade's help to manage the cleanout of my parent's business. The space was packed with stuff including very large, heavy equipment and furniture. Also, the space was in rough shape (water damage, etc). Additionally, there was a lot of emotional challenge for my father in dealing with the process. They were very quick and flexible. The heavy lifter company they used for the large stuff (Greenaway Removal) was amazing - quick, kind and friendly and super helpful. As the population ages, I expect more kids who live in other states will need the services of companies like Betty Brigade. They made a difficult situation go much easier than if I had tried to do this myself. read more

We have used the Betty Brigade services for 5 years for house sitting, pet sitting and care and miscellaneous services. The owner, Sharon, is an awesome person and she runs the business with integrity. I am a big fan. read more

I used this service to organize my office. Though I had a lot of loose papers on the desk, they could have been easily managed and filed. I have lots of file folders and cabinets. I paid $150 an hour for two people. In two and a half hours, I was still left with three piles of loose papers. Some tax documents that were in two envelopes were emptied and put somewhere or thrown out. I can't find them. The person who was assigned to go over the loose papers was a mature woman who didn't have her reading glasses with her. I didn't find that out until a half hour before they left. I know that I can't see well enough to work without my reading glasses. So basically, this lady was paid to cause me extra stress because I have to recreate the documents I need to file my taxes. The area around my computer was not touched. The Betty Brigade should have a zero rating because they caused more disorder than order at a very expensive price. read more

Perhaps the owner is a good worker, but make sure the people coming out are trained. This business is way too expensive to pay for half-done work. $95/hour for a teenager to not do what you asked them to do ? If I wanted that...I would just ask my kids to do the work and pay them $10 hour. I tried them out on one project, but will never use them again. read more

These folks are awesome. We were moving out of state after 15 years at the same location plus we were downsizing in a big way. We met with Betty Brigade and immediately were impressed with all the services they were able to provide and at a reasonable cost. As the move progressed they were able to even provide a handyman to do minor repairs. Betty Brigade sat with us as advisors when we interviewed movers, estate sales reps., they even set us up with a Co. that handled the un-sold inventory from the Estate sale. They took care of final whole house cleaning once everything was done - they even cleaned the windows. Getting back to the move and the packing , I was probably one of the more difficult if not frustrating moves. I am a coin & paper money collector plus a collector of mid to high priced jewelry & stuff for resale on EBAY. I had a room filled with boxes filled with inventory which all could not go with us on the move. Betty Brigade's employees arrived daily with smiles on their faces and a work hard attitude. We were given daily schedules & daily completion reports. I was assigned 2 workers, Dee & Heather, to tackle my room of inventory. These ladies were great pleasure to work with. We got the job done. They say the " proof is in the pudding" in this case the proof is when you open the "packed by Betty Brigade" boxes. Each item is skillfully wrapped and placed in the box so it will travel safely. One or two boxes got damaged in unloading but contents were fine because they were wrapped well. I recommend Betty Brigade, a full service provider to anyone contemplating a move. read more

The Betty Brigade is awesome!! They were recommended to us by a realtor to assist with a family household transition that involved a pretty significant downsizing. The hardest part for our family was having to manage it all from afar as we only had limited local support from inside the family to assist. Enter the Betty Brigade, who came in with their Type-A, go-getter personalities and took command of the entire project and delivered impeccable results. There is no way we could have done this project without them. They managed everything from coordinating packing, to running a bid process for the best movers, to arranging cleaning. They deal with personal and valuable family heirlooms with pride and security as if it was their own. They communicated us on a daily basis over the month-long project. In one word - they are AWESOME. I would trust them to tackle any project you had in your home. I cannot recommend their services highly enough - very professional, detailed, responsive, and thorough. Exactly what you want in a service provider. read more
