Food is great but the service is awful. As per other comments the customer service is terrible and leaves a lot to be desired.

Sweet and sour chips. Oh. My. Word…read more I could end my review of New Century right there. I really could. What more is there to say? Sweet 'n' sour chips is quite enough I reckon. But perhaps they deserve a bit more of an explanation... The day I found New Century was the day that I discovered sweet and sour chips, and the day my life was changed. Why hadn't anyone thought of it before?! Just before I go any further, I would like to establish that I'm referring to chips doused in sweet and sour sauce. Not a strange new variety of fries. Just in case you were wondering... Chips were *made* for sweet and sour sauce. They're like salt and pepper, thunder and lightning, Kim and Aggie... a match made in heaven. And it's the simplicity of such a dish that makes it all the more appealing. What is not to love? New Century also offers a vast array of Chinese dishes, with a few Thai ones thrown in for good measure. They even provide you free prawn crackers with takeaway orders of £10 or more. Oh, but those chips...

Avoid at all costs!!!!!…read more It used to be our favourite chinese carryout, but has changed hands a couple of times at least. I'm sorry to say that this evening's takeaway was one of the most disgusting experiences I have had in a long time and I won't be back. Honey Chilli Chicken was just about edible, but the Kung Po Beef was soggy, all batter and no beef. The Salt and Chilli chicken was tasteless. I don't know what they did to the previously crisp and colourful fresh peppers and onion, but they were a sad shadow of their former selves. I would love to know where the original owners have gone. Does anyone know? Please help.

Ermmmm... found a 7 inch long black hair in my kebab I ordered for delivery & received last night…read more Obviously I was on the phone to them right away! The girl that answered didn't seem too bothered at this I was asked did I order it from the "Yoyo App" (I think that's what the girl called it... a lot of background noise, so not too sure). I told her I ordered it from the Arnold's App... she said there is no Arnold's App & that I ordered it from the "Yoyo App" (never heard of it... seriously). Absolutely no humour here, but as everyone can clearly see in the screenshot from my phone... a picture is worth a thousand words!!! I used an App called Arnold's Belfast! ... or I need my eyes tested. I even provided a close-up! 3rd photo is of the black curly hair that commited the crime (seen in between the kebab & the salad) NEVER AGAIN!!!

Arnolds is based in the middle of Ballyhackamore. It serves basic american diner type food, however…read moreit does also branch out of the stereotype and offers quite a nice kebab (depending on who is cooking that day of course!!), some indian style food and some goodish pizza. They also good options for kids, although even if I had kids I would not take my kids there.....There are couple of happy days style booths for sitting in. If I where you I would just order and leave, you just cannot be too sure who has been sitting there before you!! But for a late night fix, and I mean late night. On a saturday night they stay open until 4am and at that time beggars can't be choosers. You'll be counting yourself lucky you found somewhere open at all. To sum in up, it will get you out of a rut if your stuck. But do not by any-means pin all of your hopes on Mr Arnold!!!
