Roman's Handyman Services & Painting - 2026 complete bathroom remodel

    Roman's Handyman Services & Painting

Roman's Home Improvement is hands-down the best remodeling company I've ever used…read more I contacted Roman shortly after buying a home in Naples and needing a long list of work done quickly and correctly. The project included enclosing an office by building a ten-foot-high wall with French doors, adding electrical and new lighting, tearing out and retrofitting kitchen cabinets, replacing recessed lighting, installing chandeliers, replacing plumbing fixtures, painting, and handling a variety of punch-list items. Within 24 hours, Roman came to my house, took excellent notes, and I immediately felt comfortable with him. He's humble, down-to-earth, and the kind of person you actually want working in your home. The very next day he returned with a highly competitive and detailed bid, estimating the job would take about 7 days. Not only did he deliver exactly what he promised -- he finished in 6 days -- but the real reason I'm writing this review is the quality of the workmanship. Roman and his assistant Matteo (another great guy) showed up every day with a great attitude and were ready to work. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail are truly impressive. Everything on my list was completed to perfection. They also went above and beyond to accommodate multiple changes along the way. I was so happy with their work and professionalism that I asked them to stay on and complete additional projects beyond the original scope. Their pricing was fair, and the transformation was incredible -- my home went from "fixer-upper" to "Wow, this is pretty awesome!" I can't say enough good things about Roman's Home Improvement. I strongly recommend them -- in fact, my first referral was to a family member for an outdoor stone paver project, and it was the exact same experience: great guy, great price, great quality, and a great final result. If you're considering hiring Roman's Home Improvement, do it. You will be so happy you did!

That disaster ultimately ends with people who overpromise, way underdeliver and simply do not come through. No one needs any of that during a construction project... GC Flooring on the other hand is everything we could've asked for and more! Walking into their immaculate show room that was so organized, neat and full of the latest styles, was just what we were looking for. Mayra was nothing short of a lifesaver for the build-out of our home in Naples. Her style choices were always right on the money. Mayra got to know our goals, and knocked it out of the park. What an incredible design professional! With the patience of a saint she shared one expertly curated collection after another, with so many options, one nicer than the next. Mayra helped us pick the very coolest tile options for all of our bathrooms and the most kick-ass Legno Bastone wood flooring for for the rest of the house. When it came to the mission-critical phase of getting the quantities correct, Sharina worked extremely closely with us to make sure that all of our wants and needs were satisfied. She was always so eager to please when it came to the many changes we made along the way, without fail throughout the entire evolution of our project. Sharina was also eager to lend her very creative eye and expert sense of style when it came to the design choices we were deliberating on. We are so grateful for her help! When it came time to place our order and procure each selection, even in the midst of an epic supply chain crisis every piece of material was delivered early, which is unheard of in this environment. We cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience we had working with GC Flooring and how grateful we are to have had the opportunity to work with Mayra and Sharina! Two intelligent, progressive, design focused ladies who were both sweethearts to work with and nailed the execution on every phase of our project. Thank you GC Flooring! Don and Odette Scacco

JKP Brett responded immediately to my call and worked around Quality 1's schedule to allow the work tm be completed as quickly as possible. Their work was priced fairly with both techs and a supervisor coming to the house several time. It wasn't a fun experience to go through, but the two companies we worked with were AWESOME. My old unit was functioning…read morewell, but because of its age and the potential for problems, I opted to purchase a new one. In the first 10 years of owning our condo, and with the old original A/C unit, I had never had problems with condensation collecting in its drainage system. But after only 6 months, the new system shut down one evening. After having JP Brett and Sons send a technician out to fix it ($300+), I was told that the problem was a mold clog in the condensation drain. Since then I have put vinegar in the drain on a monthly basis. The drain has only clogged once in the past few years, but almost every time I check the unit, there is water settling out near the origin of the condensation drain and the bottom of the filter is wet. I couldn't understand why, UNTIL a few months ago I put a level on the initial horizontal portion of the condensation PVC pipe and found that it actually angled slightly BACK TOWARD THE UNIT ! It looked like my A/C unit was installed an inch or so too low which therefore caused the drainage system to angle back toward the unit. I contacted JP Brett and Sons about this, suggesting that they likely installed the unit a little lower than it should be, such that the drain doesn't angle away from the unit, it angles back toward the unit. Mr. Tercero got back to me saying, "We haven't serviced this community for over a year" and suggested "routine maintenance service" to "prevent issues with drain backups". I responded to him, thanking him for NOT ANSWERING MY CONCERNS. I told him that if his goal was to avoid the problems his company had likely caused, then he had done his job well.
