The regular cheeseburger was ok and the "Big Mac" special was a disappointment. In a nutshell, the burger patty didn't taste fresh - like a pre-frozen McPatty. I wouldn't order again. The hot dog was better than expected - mainly because the frank was decently sized. In any case, I came to the area for cable kiting and would stop by this joint again next time I visit. We ordered small fries for $5.50, which could pass for a large elsewhere, and a Pickle Chips Poutine for $13.25. Staff were quick and friendly and we waited just 6 minutes for our order while the local crowd started to form a line. Some fries were a bit soggy for my liking, but overall good. Salt, pepper, malt vinegar (YES) and ketchup are at the order window. My plain fries needed salt - not a complaint! My guy's poutine was a massive portion with a good mound of cheese curds, decent beefy gravy, and topped with fried dill pickles. You have to try this combo! Take a seat at one of the 5 shaded picnic tables, and enjoy. We took most of ours to go and finish later. Took off a star because the only plant-based option is plain fries. Not even a burger! Tip 1: Go on a weekday before noon. Seems like the locals come for lunch at exactly 12:00! Tip 2: Bring cash. There's a $2 surcharge for any type of card payment, including debit.
