Christian Johnson is not to be trusted !!! In my opinion. Oh I also contacted the Better Business Bureau. I arrived at 9am and asked if it was OK to bring in my coffee. She said yes. I sat down. And instead of asking me what I wanted to see, she tells me we're watching "Fire". I said nothing. I had my tablet so I could ply games. Or listen to my phone for music or movies or something. She was parting my hair and I offered to assist with the center part. I know the center of my head. She gave me the comb and I did a quick part and gave it back. Ialso offered the ear to ear but she said she had it. She made several phone calls and texts (hands free). She also received several calls and messages. About an hour and forty minutes in a young man cam into the shop. She told him on the phone that he needed to call back at 4pm. She reminded him of that but he said that since he was in the area he decided to stop by. She told him to have a seat. She stopped working on my hair to go speak to him and put her hands through his locs without washing her hands then she returned to her place behind me as if she were going to start but I watched every step until she got near me. Then she said "Yes?" I asked "you mind if we take a bathroom break? " She said sure. So I was hoping they would be done with their talk and she could walk her hands and we could get on with our day. Upon my return she put the towel on my shoulders I asked ma'am please before you start could you wash your hands hands? She began stuttering "yyes of course. I need to go out to my car." While she was out there, I spoke to the young man. I said I am a nurse and before we go to our next patient we wash our hands or use the alcohol based jel. He states that he undestood with covid and all. When she returned she had on a child's head set on her head covering her ears. It had blue teddy bears on it. She went over and said something to him and he left. Then she stepped behind me but not close enough to do any work. She states that she is not going to do my retightenings. I asked why? She said let me come around front. Basically what she had to say equated to a word salad. I asked her what did I do? "I asked you to was your hands. I have a right to request it. You didn't even wash your hands when you stopped my service to touch him. " She said I'm not doing your sisterlocks! I'll just give you a refund. I'll send $200 and $600 back to your card and I'll zelle you $100. The deposit is non refundable." I said " how is th... by this time I am so angry I am in tears. The day before the wedding, the bride was contacted to confirm the appointments which were set for 8 am. Upon arriving at the salon Saturday morning, there was juice, soda, coffee, donuts, fruit, and pretzels for us to enjoy while we were there. This was a really nice and unexpected touch. Nine of us got hair done and we were assigned to three stylists. My stylist (I really wish I could remember her name) was blond, very friendly, and super quick. It took about 30 minutes for her to do my hair (that included putting some curl in it) and she did her interpretation of a celebrity picture I brought in. She listened when I said to go heavy on the spray (I have very fine hair) and gave me extra pins for the wedding and reception. However she did such a good job that my hair stayed the whole evening. My updo was $35 before tip. I also had my makeup done which cost $25. Susan was my makeup artist and she was awesome. She asked a few questions before we started and did an amazing smokey eye on me. I don't wear a lot of makeup and the products they use are long lasting and very light. I really didn't feel like I had anything on. A couple of girls who didn't intially have makeup appointments decided they wanted theirs done, so the salon worked them in which was great and very much above and beyond what we expected. Everyone's hair and makeup came out wonderfully and the prices are very moderate. I would recommend Glam to anyone in the Salisbury/Delmar/Laurel area for wedding hair and makeup.

She had been chatting with the stylist beforehand via messenger sending pictures of what she wanted. Once she arrived the stylist said "that will take to long i cant do that, but i can do highlights....wellll that is what we booked for so cool. Once my daughter's hair was washed we saw the problem. Her hair was GREY with black splotches all through it. We asked for blonde highlights and she ended up with white/grey hair and black splotches all over her head. The root smudge was not done with a brush but done by rubbing the smudge on her fingers and just rubbing into her hair, which was then all over my daughters head and never cleaned up...The root smudge was BLACK, not even close to what it should have been...We had to go to another Salon who said they cant even fix the HORRIBLE job for 6-8 weeks.
