Filling and delicious. I've been here a hand full of times and every time I leave totally full and satisfied but wanting more. It's simply that good. It's easy to overload from the road, but i'm here to tell you that this is a place you have got to try. Service is always friendly! Total Friends and Family Recommendation!!!!

This place makes the best "slice" of pizza. Not really pizza, but focaccia in a pizza-like style reminiscent of Sicilian style pizza. What sets this piece of tomato, dough, and cheese apart is the magic that happens between the layers. There's a middle layer on top of a perfectly crispy bottom and below the extremely tasty cheese top that is both flavorful and has the most pleasing texture. Put it all together with a little charred pepperoni and you got heaven on Earth; truly a spectacular "slice." Also available plain or with sausage. I had mine at room temperature. Soooooo good. Take it from the Pizza Maven. They got something REALLY special here. BTW, the wraps were very good, too. Nicely grilled chicken in a soft wrap stuffed with fresh veggies, fresh mozzarella, almonds, & even strawberries. It worked out to be an interesting, delicious combination. But, when I go back (and I'm going back sooner than later) it's going to be focaccia all the way. Thank you Mixing Bowl for showing me the light in the darkness of the Syracuse pizza world.

Menu is filled with options which made it hard to pick what to order which is an awesome "problem" to have, we all ordered breakfast and were not disappointed! I decided on the pancake/french toast flight and picked three flavors. I chose Cannoli French Toast, Reese's Pieces pancakes, and the loaded pancakes for a savory item. Cannoli was my favorite but they were all good, loaded even has an egg on top however you like it!Portion size is huge and everything tasted great!!!! They had a good challenge listed on the menu but none of us were up to the challenge! Service is amazing, and they even have a waitress warming up coffee, which I highly appreciate at places. The diner is busy but it was not too loud to hear your party and everything ran so smooth. All the servers were nice and seemed happy to work there! Menu price was shown using your card, they had a cash discount available if using cash which is a nice option! I wish I took pictures or everyone else's food but didn't. The drink options seemed amazing with make your own flights or their specials. The next time I am in the Syracuse area I will be going here to try more! Don't be afraid of the busy parking lot or wait time, it's worth it!! Also reading about the name and reason for this diner made me feel all the feels for the owners recovery, how can you NOT support a place like this??!! We will be back and can't wait to try more off their menu.

They were swamped so the short wait seemed unlikely. But in fact we were seated and provided menus and waters. This is a classic no frills diner. Retro feel with large diner menu selection. I had a combination platter that was huge, bagel egg and cheese, steak and eggs, and we shared a waffle drizzled with chocolate and cinnamon. Everything was tasty and came out in a timely manner. Friendly service, getting the bill and boxes at the end of meal was a bit of a lull. But for a holiday it was overall very accommodating with no reservations! They offer a full diner lunch menu as well.

We went savory this time: breakfast burrito and steak-n-eggs. My wife had iced coffee and I ordered coffee with cream. Amy questioned my order and wanted to make sure I wanted coffee with cream. I said, " Yes, absolutely " She brought me coffee with whipped cream. We had a good laugh over my deafness and apparent mumbling. Meals arrived quickly: burrito was big but not imposing. Very yummy, Steak was of low quality and thin , which is always a cook's challenge to prepare. Nothing special but adequate. Eggs were perfect and the sourdough toast was extra delicious. All made for a satisfying meal at a good price ( given prices are elevated everywhere these days). Highly recommend a stop here .

For pastries, I decided on a ham and cheese croissant and apple cheese danish and it was the most incredible dessert i've ever tried wow! I've never tried something like this before and now I will never stop thinking about it. The ham and cheese was ok compared to everything else, just very messy and flakey with the croissant. My friend got the almost croissant and said it was "amazing". I will definitely be back here many more times to try absolutely everything they have to offer! Walking through the restaurant was nice as the space was very large and the decor indoor was cozy and whimsical. Our server was nice throughout the meal. However, I did get a water glass that had marks on it that looked like someone just drank out of it and a crumb on the rim. I asked them if they could get me a clean cup and they ended up bringing the same one as the same mark and crumb were still there. For food, our table ordered a few items to share. We got: -CAULIFLOWER WINGS: The chutney/salsa on top of the fried cauliflower was nice and gave the item a little sour kick. However, the cauliflower itself was not cooked fully so not as soft as I wanted it to be. -SYRACUSE POUTINE: The appearance of the poutine was not the best. However, the gravy it came with was very flavorful and tasty. The potatoes themselves were not fried and were in wedge form but went well with the gravy. The small globs of melted cheese on top were a nice complement. -CAJUN SLIDERS: The slider compliments/sauce went well together but the sliders themselves had grill marks on it which gave a bitter bite to those parts of the slider. Additionally, the fried shrimp inside of the slider still had the tail on and so it was a bit of a surprise to bite into a full tail while eating a slider. All in all, a cute spot to see people but food had some hit or miss components.
