Food tasted amazing here! All that you can want for Mediterranean fare: farm-to-table vibes. Restaurant was decorated nicely to reflect lakefront town. Waitress was really sweet and down-to-earth and attentive to us as a larger group. I would definitely come back to try their other items. We loved everything we ate! Chicken shwarma had a more Indian-influence with turmeric and other spices. Bread was seasoned with za'atar. Octopus was paired with olive oil and not overcooked (not rubbery). Couscous was prepared well as it was moist and coated with olive oil and topped off with tomatoes, olives, and feta cheese.

Pleasantly surprised by this new place in the heart of Pewaukee Beach! The decor and menu was inviting so I was lucky enough to get a seat at the bar during the Beach Party! Service was prompt by the waitstaff and bartender. The tenderloin sliders were fresh and flavorful with just the right portions. The bruschetta was a great surprise trio which included a fruit and Brie which was like a dessert. Walked out happy and satisfied

Across the street from Pewaukee Beach, we thought this would be an excellent place to ride our bikes for a good meal. They express that they are a small plates concept- we didn't want a huge dinner, so that worked. We were seated outside, which was great. Wine came quickly- also great. The food? Well- it was bad. The Schwarma had maybe 2 pieces of meat in it, and it had no spice. The chimmichurri sirloin had 2 issues: the steak was done too well. I know, there are some folks that don't like their steaks pink, but at least ASK. It was like cardboard. And the sauce was NOT chimmichurri. So, this will be a place to grab a salad and a glass of wine.

This is the second time I've been here in 2 weeks! The first time was an amazing experience which is what these photos are from. The food feels very high quality, has beautiful presentation, and is oh so tasty! I actually love the Bruscetta Trio so much I had to get it again. The orange and strawberry on the warm brie with honey is the best combo of flavors-im obsessed. The steak sliders are also incredibly tender, they're fantastic! The second time around wasn't as amazing as the first time, but was still really good. I'm chaulking it up to it being a busy Friday night which lead to longer food waits. The one thing that would be nice is a more expanded drink menu. My husband and I weren't in the mood for alcohol, so having some mocktail options would have been nice! We will definitely be back, Pewaukee beach needed a place like this!

We decided to try this new restaurant in downtown Pewaukee for the experience. The owner is a Greek gentleman who had worked with some of my coworkers in the past all from Greece. We ordered three main items off the menu and our drinks and we're very satisfied with the meal. Our server did a nice job explaining things to us. We eat outside on the patio which was lovely and relaxing and we had a wonderful time. The owner stopped over to say hello and make a connection that really helped us enjoy the experience more. I will return and I will recommend.

Very friendly staff. Food was beautifully presented and tasty. Highly recommend the white sangria!

We were thrilled with the familiarity but also with the newness of the menu. As it was far too hot to eat al fresco, we were given a table on the first floor near the window. We had 5:00 reservations and were seated immediately. Our server, Mason, was fun and efficient, but he also had to cover the bar so he was running. A few more staff would have been helpful as the tables filled up, and by 6:15, people were waiting outside to get a table. The age group of diners is varied, and everyone seemed to be very satisfied. We ordered the Bruschetta and the Salmon with Lemon Risotto, both of them prepared very well. The food tasted very fresh, and the presentation was lovely. I also ordered the Bolognese because I love a good dish of it. This one did not disappoint. However, the meat pieces were small pea-sized bits of beef, which tasted good, but looked a bit odd. I would like to know why, but I was too busy enjoying the dish. It is my birthday and so I was offered either a free cocktail or a dessert. I love a good treat so the flourless cake was my choice. It was a very nice birthday present. I really look forward to our next visit. The menu has lots of options I want to try.

Our party of four had 3 appetizer sized small plates and 4 main courses (Walleye, Carbonara, and Bolognese). All the food was excellent, but the favorite for all of us was the crispy potato small plate. Our server was very pleasant, but she was new and not yet thoroughly familiar with the menu. It's a bit pricey, but I think the quality justifies the cost. One cautionary note: the menu, including the bar offerings, is relatively limited, so if you're looking for enormous variety you might be disappointed. I suggest you check the menu online in advance. We will definitely be back.

Our table ordered a bunch of different drinks but the one that really stood out was the Codependant. I don't know if I can recreate that at home but I sure as heck am going to try. Food: We obviously ordered a bunch of plates for the table. The one that REALLY stood out was the whipped feta appetizer. I could eat two plates of that all by myself and order nothing else. An item that was really interesting was the Blueberry Goat Cheese Pinsa, it is literally dessert pizza, super unique flavor combo, everyone liked it. I recommend ordering this to end your meal! The rest of the dishes were good but nothing I would rave about to other people. Next time I'm down here visiting family I would definitely come back for the Codependant and the Whipped Feta app!

We started with the pink Guava Paloma and the Schilling Local Legends for our drinks. The Pink Guava Paloma tasting amazing and was strong. You were really able to taste the tequila but it wasn't un-drinkable. The Guava was a great blend with the drink and my friend wished he had gotten the same drink because of how good it tasted. The menu was divided up into three different sections; Field, Sea, and Pasture. They also had specials, as well. We tried to get a few items from each section to try different dishes. In the Field section, we tried the Truffle Potato Skins (WI). The potatoes skins were PILED onto the plate. They were more soft than crunchy but tasted amazing. I wasn't really able to taste the truffle but it was still good. In the Sea section, we tried the Sambal Goreng Udang (Indonesia). An Indonesian dish with white shrimp, sambal chili paste, mash potatoes, and coconut milk. Honestly, this was my favorite dish. It was creamy and the mashed potatoes paired so well with the sauce and the shrimp. It had a hint of spice, which elevated the experience for me personally, as I love spicy food. In the Pasture section, we tried the Beef Empanadas (Columbia) and Vietnamese Pork Belly Crepes (Vietnam). The Beef Empanadas came with four pieces and some green sauce. The outside was crunchy and not over fried, the inside was perfectly filled and moist. Would highly recommend it as it was amazing. The Vietnamese Pork Belly Crepes were a little disappointing. I was expecting them to come out like the traditional Vietnamese crepes, crispy outside with the pork belly and other fillings on the inside. Instead it was like an actual crepe mix. It was soft and honestly okay. It wasn't our favorite. As for the specials they were offering, we tried the Pork Tenderloin. The Pork Tenderloin was pretty good, not super dry. It was served on top of potatoes and tasted amazing. La Merenda has a very cozy atmosphere. Low lights and overall just a chill and quaint spot. I will definitely come back for more of the Sambal Goreng Udang and to try out some of their other plates!

The Gnocchi d'Autunno we got was like a nice hug it was such a warm dish in the way you want a warm comfort meal on a cold day. The butter chicken and Argentina style beef we also tried I liked the butter chicken more just because I wish the beef had more chimichurri. I definitely will take friends in the future. So we came here on a random Friday night to test our luck to get a table at 7 o'clock for two people. We got lucky and got to sit inside because that's where we wanted to sit although they do have sidewalk or outdoor seating as well. I thought sitting inside would be cooler, but I was wrong as all the doors and windows were open and I don't believe the AC was on at all. Well, the menu is pretty extensive. I will say that a vegetarian could definitely eat here as well as anyone else. This is our first visit here and as you can tell from the photos ordered quite a bit of food. And typical top of style the portions are pretty small, but they are meant to be shared. It was actually too much food for two people who were already hungry. Some of the standouts were definitely the meatballs and the salad salads. The jamon iberico was absolutely incredible. Not pictured was the picture of sangria we ordered. We got the rosé and to be quite honest with all of the heat. It actually watered down way too quickly. And it also came in a plastic picture, which was a bit of a turn off. The shrimp with garlic was good, but the garlic was hard to taste because it was also covered or doused in a lot of tomato base or tomato sauce. I was really looking forward to a very clear buttery or olive oil sauce that was saturated with garlic. The mushrooms were OK as well, but again too much tomato in this dish that I'm not used to. The potatoes were also very tasty and well seasoned, and the sauce on it was just right. I think this is a good option for people who want top us in the suburbs however, I will say that I hope they do some tweaking to the recipes as well so that they have something that truly makes them stand out and unique.
