They sourced much of the seafood from their own farms so the shellfish was going to be quite fresh. The menu showcased selected preparations for their oysters, mussels, scallop and abalone from the kitchen besides a fish burger and fish of the day. We ordered and then were handed a pager. Seating was all open air under a covered patio. A huge cooler supplied water. Pickup from the kitchen was outside facing the parking lot. Bathrooms were away from the main building near the outside food refrigerators. Our first dish was the dozen raw oysters. We actually got 14 which was a bonus! They were good sized, fresh and tasted a little like the sea. A squeeze of lemon was all we needed as we slurped them up. The bowl of natural mussels was huge and I stopped counting the shells as they overflowed the shell bowl. We opted to de-shell everything and let the mussels soak in the broth. Rich and tasty. Our final dish was the abalone three ways. Each was cooked perfectly with our favorite flavors of (1) saffron and (2) herb but the miso butter seemed a bit off.
