There was even two tour buses in the parking lot. We dropped in on a Saturday afternoon (around 12:30pm). They have a bit of everything; sandwiches, meat pies, desserts, soups, breakfast and drinks (coffee, tea and hot/cold drinks). - Sausage pie ($3.90 AUD) - our friend devoured this so quickly that we didn't even see it. - Savoury pie ($3.90 AUD) - we tried a savoury pie. It tasted like a chicken pot pie without the chicken. Great crunchy, flaky texture. Will need to try more of these. - Vanilla slice ($5.50 AUD) - our other friend told us these are great in Ozzy. She let us sample; light and creamy. Yum. - Korma curry vegetable ($5.90 AUD) - potato, pumpkin, carrot, peas, spinach, onion, cauliflower, zucchini and sweet potato. Our first vegetarian pie; curry was mild. Decent enough. Good little cafe spot to grab a quick bite.

Being in the Tasmanian countryside we may have preferred a more "mom and pop" type of bakery rather than this somewhat touristy, slightly franchise-y looking establishment complete with an attached tavern, but the selection and quality of the food made it worth the stop.

A nice little cafe in Swansea overlooking oyster bay…read more We stopped in for lunch on our drive from Hobart up to Freycinet and got inside just before the rain. The menu is pretty large for a small place with burgers, some sAndwiches and a couple of salads. They also have a variety of pizza which sounded good to us. We chose a pepperoni pizza which had a great, super thin cracker-like crust and a Cesar salad and a pear cider-it was the perfect lunch. No sooner then we got inside, the heavens opened and it got quite rainy-so our timing was good. Food-wise this cute spot is maybe 3.5 star but the food arrived super quick and the young staff was very friendly so bonus points for that. There are only a few spots in which to eat on the main road through Swansea and this fit the biLl for us.

(it was called something else) I didn't look at the price of it till i paid $32.95 for his and $19.95 for mine. My pancakes were those golden pancakes that you buy at woolies, and it was burnt on the underside. The fruits were okay, fresh, the grapes were a little brown. I just couldn't get over the fact that a restaurant would serve pancakes that you would only buy if you couldn't be bothered to make them. It's so cheap to make a pancake batter and so much nicer. I wouldn't recommend stopping here. I'd hold out till you find something else. I wish I'd had the pancakes at the berry farm up the road. I didn't take pic of the big breakfast, it was okay.....just okay, on the plate there was a small grilled frankfurt instead of an actual sausage, Which was weird. $50+ for a really bad breakfast.
