It was an eyebrow wax so it was pretty fast, but she still did a good job. The center is very clean and the young lady at the front desk was warm in her reception. The only thing I do not like about EWC, and several other service-based places is when they ask you out loud if you want to leave a tip. That is a decision for me to make and the fact that the majority of people already leave a tip means we don't need a reminder. It's extremely uncomfortable and unnecessary.

It was a little hard to find but her daughter guided me there on the phone while I was lost. Initially it was a little off putting as I thought they might not be as sanitary because the wax was dark colored. I later found out she doesn't use wax but sugar. This process reduces irritation to the skin & is less painful. In my 35 years of life, I have only been waxed once when I was 19 for a pool party. I vowed never to do it again because of all the pain & skin irritation I experienced afterwards. There was minimal pain & absolutely no skin issues after this procedures. The shop is clean but there's no extra frills to distract you like at other shops. They have a few chairs and maybe 3-4 techs working at a time. They offer you a beverage and get right to business. Each time I'm left feeling good because the experience is great. Their prices are similar to old times ($40- gel pedicure and $25- regular manicure). If you're looking for a shop, check them out!
